Meru National Park was where George and Joy Adamson released their most famous lioness, Elsa, back into the wild. 

The park features unspoiled 870km² stretch of well-watered, dense bush, acacia woodland and verdant, tall grasslands spiked with weird-looking doum palms is ripe for discovery.

Samburu National Reserve is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the dry northern reaches of Kenya.

There are plenty of wildlife including Giraffes, buffalos, waterbucks and zebras from the surrounding savannah plains trek to the water.

Masai Mara National Reserve is famous for the wildebeest migration as the animals cross the Mara River between July and August.

The reserve is also home to the richest concentration of wildlife, including the "Big Five" (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo), zebras, antelope, gnus, Oribis, hyenas, giraffes, warthogs, gazelles, hartebeests, hippos, crocodiles and others.

Laikipia runs from the foothills of Mt Kenya to the edge of the Great Rift Valley. It features semi-arid plains, dramatic gouges and acacia-thicket-covered hills.

Day 1: Nairobi Arrival
On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure as you relax from your flight.

Day 2: Explore Nairobi
Spend the day is exploring the city of Nairobi. Get to visit different interesting places in Kenya. Visit the Karen Blixen Museum where we view relics and listen to a narration of Kenya’s colonial history.

The David Sheldrick baby elephant orphanage is where orphan baby elephants feeding between 11 am and 12 noon.

We shall enjoy lunch at the Karen Blixen coffee garden and later in the afternoon visit the Giraffe center where we can feed the Rothschild Giraffe.

Day 3: Nairobi – Fly to Meru National Park
After an early breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be transferred to Wilson airport for your scheduled flight to Meru National Park.

You will enjoy the beautiful countryside scenery and excellent views of snow-capped Mount Kenya in a distance.

On arrival to the Meru National Park and proceed for a game-drive en-route to the lodge/ camp.

In the afternoon proceed for an afternoon game drive. Meru National Park is home to a large pride of lions, herds of buffalo, and hippos and crocodiles that live in the rivers.

The park is noted for its fauna and natural beauty.

Meru has many swamps and rivers lined with palms, as well as mountains and woodlands, and it is the setting for Joy Adamson's book "Born Free", which was later made into a successful film.

Day 4: Explore Meru National Park
After a hearty breakfast we explore Meru National Park which is host to an extraordinary array of wildlife.

We take you out in four-wheel drive vehicles together with professional guides to explore the bush at your pace, and to enjoy a vivid, personal connection with some of the magnificent creatures that call this area home.

Meru National Park is also home to species as reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, and Oryx which are not to be found in many other National Parks or areas in Kenya.

Aside from the regular morning and afternoon game drives we have a range of other activities available on and off camp, including bird watching, bush walks, mountain biking and visiting the villages of the peaceful and friendly Meru people.

Every activity an opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery and rhythms of life that are classically African.

Day 5: Meru National Park – Fly to Samburu National Reserve
In the morning after breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Samburu National Reserve.

On arrival you will be transferred with a brief game drive as you head for the camp for lunch. After lunch relax for a while then proceed for a game drive till dusk.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Discover Samburu National Reserve
Spend the entire day exploring the Samburu National Reserve. Animals commonly seen include elephants, lions, cheetahs, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks, buffaloes, gazelles, dikdik and water bucks.

With a magnificent background of jagged, purple mountains, a safari in these small gems in the wildlife wilderness will provide some of the best and most colorful game viewing in the country.

Other activities in Samburu include Camel trekking, visit a traditional Samburu manyatta (village), go market shopping, lie back for stargazing, and hone your photography skills on safari walks.

Day 7: Samburu National Reserve – Fly to Laikipia
In the morning after breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Laikipia. Enjoy the spectacular views of both Samburu and Laikipia.

On arrival, you'll be met and transferred to the lodge with an en-route game drive. After lunch, you’ll be heading out for game activities within the Ol Malo Conservancy.

The Ol Malo is about more than just the game, it immerses you with the local community, the Samburu people.

Day 8 & 9: Explore Laikipia
Masai Mara. You will fly west over the dramatic great rift valley to the unspoiled wild savannahs of the Masai Mara.

The Mara River cuts through the Mara and Serengeti eco systems giving life to the both reserves finally pouring out into the Lake Victoria.

Impressive and most notable is the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle instinct led migration from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya.

Masai Mara is one of Kenya’s most visited reserve with an extraordinary density of animals including the Big five and many other varieties of plains game.

Spend the 2 days exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Mara offers wildlife in such a great variety.

There are over 450 species of animals have been recorded here, you will easily see rhinos, leopard, Wildebeest Migration ,elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, zebra, warthog, Jackals, lions, many types of antelopes, crocodiles and giraffe.

Guests can visit the famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve or have a relaxed nature walk with the Maasai guides.

 Day 13: Masai Mara National Reserve – Fly to Nairobi
Wake up for an early game drive, when predators are active. Return to the camp for breakfast and afterward transfer to the airstrip for your charter flight to Nairobi.

On arrival, you’ll have lunch at our Nairobi Hotel. The rest of your afternoon is at leisure.

You might take this opportunity to visit a few stores which have displays and items pertaining to Kenya and Tanzania's cultural heritage, and offers unique carvings, artifacts, clothing and gem stones to augment and expand the experiences you've had on your visit.

 

In the evening after dinner, you'll be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for you flight back home.
