Our 3 Day Arusha National Park Tarangire Lake Manyara Safari begins with a visit to Arusha National Park.  Arusha National Park is home to Mt Meru standing at 4565 meters, Ngurdoto Crater and the Momella Lakes.

Despite its relatively small size, this park has a lot to offer such as Colobus monkeys, flamingos, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, plus a variety of bird and plant species.

Arusha National Park offers walking safari, climbing Mount Meru, game drives to Ngurdoto Crater and the Momella lakes.

Our next stop is a visit to Tarangire National Park – a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania that is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and quiet authentic safari atmosphere.

Elephants are the main attraction with up to 3,000 in thepark during the peak season months. Other animals include wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, eland, leopard and cheetah. 

Lake Manyara National Park is our last stop. The park lies west of Arusha, Tanzania along a surfaced road, close to the ethnically diverse market town of Mto wa Mbu.

Lake Manyara National Park is unspoiled paradise with ground water forest, laced with underground springs and teeming with wildlife such as elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, the largest baboon troops in Africa and some of the antelopes. 

Day 1: Arusha Town – Drive to Arusha National Park (Guided Walking Tour)
0800 Hours: After a leisure breakfast at the hotel drive  to Arusha National Park for canoeing safari following the shorelines of small Momella Lake inside Arusha National Park.

Arusha National Park is the only place in Tanzania where you can get close to buffalo without being charged.  You will see giraffes, bushbucks, waterbucks; where you can witness a 600-species strong bird community.

The park offers great views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro at the same time from the exciting luxury of our stable two-person canoes.

Later proceed on a half day game drive in the park which is the famous for white and black colobus monkeys, burchell’s Zebra, giraffe and herds of buffalo, bohor reedbuck, python, elephants bush buck, hippos and many water birds living in and close to the water.

1700 Hours: Late evening drive back to your Arusha National Park accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Arusha National Park – Drive to Tarangire National Park
0800 Hours: After breakfast at our lodge/ Camp we proceed by rod to Tarangire National Park located slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire National Park is location 118 kilometers (75 miles) southwest of Arusha. Tarangire National Park is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania that is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and quiet authentic safari atmosphere.

Tarangire National Park comprises of mostly dry, open woodlands, which include thorny acacia thickets and lots of its signature baobab trees.

Elephants are the main attraction with up to 3,000 in the park during the peak season months. 

1100 Hours: Arrive at the park and proceed for a game-drive en-route to your Lodge/ Camp.

1300 Hours: Arrive at your accommodation. After lunch relax before setting out on the afternoon game drive.

1530 Hours: Depart for the afternoon game drive. Peak season in Tarangire sees good numbers of wildebeest and zebra as well as giraffe, buffalo, Thompson's gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, eland, leopard and cheetah. 

The real prizes in the park are dwarf mongoose, Oryx and Generuk but viewings are very rare.

With a range of environments and good game, Tarangire bird life is also varied – and over 500 species have been recorded here, including ashy starlings and large flocks of beautiful yellow-collared lovebirds, both of which are endemic to Tanzania.

1830 Hours: Return to the camp/ Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park – Drive to  Lake Manyara National Park – Drive to Arusha
0800 Hours: Breakfast at the lodge/ camp then proceed by road to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch.

The Lake occupies large area of the park, the forest start just when you cross the park gate along the base of the Great Rift Valley and hot spring to the west of the park.

The park is home to Tree climbing Lion, zebra, giraffes, lions and Kirk’s dik-dik, klipspringer, bushbuck, Buffalo, wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and troops of Baboons amongst others.

Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s bird-life. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day.

Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks.

1200 Hours: Enjoy your box lunch at a picnic site within the park.

3 Days 2 Nights Sinya Wildlife Conservancy Tanzania Safari: Sinya Private Wildlife Conservancy is about 600 square kilometer and is located in Tanzania.

The private concession is an almost unexplored wilderness which the Maasai call Insinya, lies to the west of Mount Kilimanjaro opposite Kenya’s Amboseli National Park. The drive takes approximately 2 hours from Arusha.

2 Days Manyara Ranch Conservancy Tanzania Safari from Arusha or Moshi is a short overnight luxury safari to Manyara Ranch Conservancy – a 35000-acre wilderness between Tarangire and Manyara parks in Tanzania.

2 Days Arusha National Park Safari Walking Canoeing Tour provides an alternative adventure to regular game drives in Arusha National Park – Tanzania. Arusha National Park is small and covers only 137 square km.

It is located close to the famous "safari town" of Arusha about 29 km away as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport and even from Moshi is a mere 65 km.

The Park has three most significant features which include:

Mount Meru: Tanzania's second highest peak at 4566 meters. One of Africa's most rewarding climbs, offering spectacular scenery, and guaranteed wildlife animals encounters on its forested slopes.

Bird watching: A haven for ornithologists and rock climbers, the cliffs of Hell's Gate are breeding grounds for vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard and thousands of swifts; 103 species of bird have been recorded in the Park.

Hell's Gate National Park Obsidian Caves: Obsidian Caves (and its distinctive black glass-like obsidian rock) are located on the Buffalo Circuit and have a track that takes you to a lookout over the Fisher Tower and Kedong plains around the Mt Longonot.

Hell's Gate National Park Ol Karia Geothermal Project: Power station standing over the lava flow of the Ol Karia extinct volcano is exploits super-heated steam locked 1,500 meters below surface and provides 25 % of Kenyan's electricity from its giant turbines.

0630 Hours: Hells Gate National Park Nairobi Full Day Trip departs Nairobi by road. The journey takes a drive down the Great Rift Valley stopping at the viewpoint for photography.

You then continue on to get to Hell's Gate National Park in Naivasha.

0900 Hours: Once at the Park, you have the option of a walking game drive or take bikes into the Park. Cycling in the Park is a great adventure as you get to ride the bikes for 7 Km's before resting at a ranger's post.  

We begin our cycling from the Park’s Gate. Hells Gate is famous for its natural hot geysers, eagle and vulture breeding grounds as well as activities by visitors in the park such as walking, cycling and rock climbing.

There are also special locations to view such as Fischers’ Tower formerly a volcano’s plug, the central Tower and Njorowas Gorge. The Olkaria and Hobleys’ the 2 extinct volcanoes are worth a trip as natural steam vents rise from fissures in the volcanic rock.

There is also game in this park which includes the buffalo, Masai Giraffe, eland, lion, leopard and cheetah.  Over 100 species of birds have been recorded. Horse riding can also be arranged.

1230 Hours: After a brief stop at the rangers post you leave the bike and start a walking safari. Enjoy the spectacular views of the gorge. The walking trip or safari takes 3 hours.

The hot springs and a fabulous scenic landscape besides the diverse game are just incredible.

1400 Hours: Walk back to pick your bikes and return to the vehicle for the 90 km's journey back to Nairobi.
