3 Days 2 Nights Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Volcanoes Lake Kivu Safari begins and ends in in Kigali Rwanda's capital city. The tour includes a visit to Volcanoes National Park – best known for mountain gorilla trekking.

More than than half of the world's last mountain gorillas live here – about 350 of them – and at present it's probably the best place in Africa for a mountain gorilla safari.

Volcanoes National Park is located about 80 km from Kigali and takes about 2 Hours 20 minutes by road. The tour also includes a visit to Lake Kivu – Rwanda’s largest lake, and the sixth largest lake in Africa.

Lake Kivu has three main towns; Gisenyi (Rubavu), Kibuye (Karongi) and Cyangugu (Rusizi).  Gisenyi (Rubavu) is the largest city on the shores of Lake Kivu located 56 km, about an hour’s drive from Volcanoes National Park.

Gisenyi is known for water sports and surprisingly tropical beaches. While at Gisenyi we enjoy any of the following activities; water sports, bird watching on the lake shores and surrounding areas or visit the only brewery in Rwanda Bralirwa.

A visit the Imbabazi Orphanage an orphanage for survivors and over 400 orphans of the Rwandan genocide is also possible, visit the bustling markets or just relax.
