Sand River Masai Mara Camp is located alongside the banks of the Sand river and lies on the most northerly route of the spectacular Annual Migration, close to the border of the Serengeti National Park and within the Masai Mara National Reserve.

The camp is 15 kilometers from Keekerok airstrip and the driving time from the airstrip is 45 minutes. Sand River Masai Mara Camp nearest gates are Sekanani 27 kilometers and Ololamutiek 32 kilometers of Masai Mara National Reserve.

Sand River Masai Mara Camp replicates the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps of the late 1920’s. There are 16 luxury guest tents, divided into two separate but adjoining campsites with each area possessing its own designated dining and public areas.

Each tent features a 4 poster bed, armchair, wooden chest, bedside tables and lamps, full-length mirror and bench. The sitting area features a coffee table, sofa and writing desk, and the en-suite bathroom is tastefully designed with free-standing bathtub, dual-sink vanity, mirror, shelf, towel racks, cabinets under the vanity and separate outdoor shower.

The elegantly furnished communal lounge is perfectly positioned with picturesque Mara plains, which are dotted with game and twittering with birdlife. Guests can take a rest over a shaded chair on the deck and page lazily through a book from the well-stocked library or sip a chilled vintage from the superbly stocked wine cellar.

Salt Springs Mara Camp Masai Mara

Salt Springs Mara Camp Masai Mara is located in the North Western-side of the Masai Mara Eco system overlooking Oloololo Escarpment along the Mara River near Mararianta Bridge across the River.

The camp is about 5 hours by road from Nairobi through Narok – Ngorengore – Lemek Road. By Air from Nairobi, it's a 45 minutes flight to Musiara Airstrip and a transfer time of about 25 Minutes to the Camp.

The camp has 5 tents and are decorated in the unique local Maasai style. Each tent has a double bed or 2 twin beds, shady private veranda and en-suite bathroom with hot shower and flush toilets.

Salt Springs Mara Camp restaurant is very spacious with a large veranda hanging above the rocky cliff offering the best panorama view of the Mara River and Mara Plains. There is a dining tent and meals served are continental style cuisine caters to a variety of dietary requirements.

Salas Camp Maasai Mara Luxury Tented Safari Accommodation

Salas Camp Maasai Mara Luxury Tented Safari Accommodation stands on the banks of the Sand River which traverses the Southern tip of the Masai Mara Reserve.

The camp is located some 300 km from Nairobi (6 hours by road along the Nairobi-Narok Road, and then towards Sekenani gate, past Keekorok and on towards Roan Hill (35 minutes west of Keekorok airstrip).

Sala's Camp is served by an all weather air strip – less than an hour from Nairobi by plane. It takes 35 minutes game drive from the Keekorok Airstrip to the camp.

Sala’s Camp can accommodate up to 16 guests. There are 2 honeymoon tents with plunge pools (Tent 1 & 7), 2 family tents with plunge pools (Tent 2a/ 2b & 3), 3 luxury tents with plunge pool (Tents 4,5 & 6).

The tents will either have a double or twin beds and can easily accommodate an extra bed. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, running water and flushing toilets.

Outside each tent there is a hammock and some of the tents have pool plunges.Salas Camp Masai Mara has a central dining and bar area overlooking the wilderness of this famous reserve.

Camp food is cooked in the traditional safari style, using a camp fire, and a gas cooker. All the ingredients are farm sourced and free from artificial pesticides.

Salas Camp offers a combination of international dishes and a variety of food to suit all tastes. Guests can enjoy sundowners by the campfire before enjoying dinner served under the stars.

Royal Mara Safari Lodge is located along the Mara River in the Mara North Conservancy (formerly called Koyiaki conservation area), approximately 250 Kilometers from Nairobi and the journey by road takes about 6 hours. Transfer from Mara Shikar Airstrip takes 15 Minutes, Musiara Airstrip (35 Minutes) and Kichwa Tembo Airstrip (75 Minutes).

The lodge has 8 animal-named tents raised on wooden decks with wooden . Each tent features hand-carved furniture, African art, poster beds, electronic safes, mahogany floors, writing desk and dining table with chairs and private outdoor deck . The bathroom is en-suite and fitted with a double vanity sink area, shower, bidet and flush toilet.

The Main Lodge is ideally located on the Peninsula of Hippo Bend Lagoon and features reception desk, lounge area, bar area, dining area, bathrooms, and a large veranda with outdoor barbecue all elevated one meter off the ground and overlook the Mara River.

There is also a River Lodge with its own lounge, bar and dining facilities. Guests can enjoy drinks from the bar at the nearby built-in fireplace or at the outdoor fire pit. Riverside breakfast buffets and lunch barbecues are offered at the River Lodge as well as evening fireside dinners.

Richards River Camp Masai Mara

Richards River Camp Masai Mara is situated on the banks of the Njageteck River in the private Mara North Conservancy bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp overlooks the Ngoyanai springs which provides permanent water and draw a large numbers of animals to the area around camp. The closest main airstrip is called Mara Shikar.

The luxury camp has 6 tents and 1 large suite, all raised on concrete platforms with low wooden steps. Each tent is tastefully fitted with either double bed or twin beds, dressing room, soft rugs on the floor and a seating area complete with a footstool. The bathroom is en-suite with a vanity counter, hot showers, flush toilets and stone floors with bamboo-like trunks for the walls.

Richards Forest Camp Masai Mara

Richards Forest Camp Masai Mara is located on the edge of a small forest within the private Ol Choro Conservancy in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The camp is 180 kilometers West of Nairobi (about a 5 hour drive) and 20 minutes game drive from the Ngerende Airstrip.

There are 6 spacious tents, each tastefully fitted with twin or double beds, hand-crafted wooden dressers, hanging frame, carved coffee tables with safari chairs, woven rugs and furnished veranda.

The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a vanity basin, open foldable racks and flush toilet. There is also an open shower with only bamboo walls for privacy and the al fresco stand-alone bathtubs.
