Nairobi Snake Park Day Tour is an informative one hour guided tour to the popular attraction and research facility for reptiles, breeding of snakes located adjacent to Nairobi National Museum – Kenya. There are crocodiles, octopus, giant snails, snakes, prawns and fish etc.

Nairobi Snake Park is one of the National Museums of Kenya attractions located within the compound of the Nairobi National Museum. It is located at the Museum hill approximately 10 minutes drive from the Nairobi city centre.

On display are, cobras, puff adders, mambas and the large African-Rock python (non-poisonous) found only in Kenya. Other animals include several species of crocodile found in Africa, the American alligator, fresh water terrapins and tortoises.

The specimen was found wondering along a road in Limuru in 1961. The public in Nairobi over the years to date has continued to receive help in removal of snakes from residential premises as well as advice on handling of reptiles especially snakes.

Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage Tour is a Nairobi Day excursion to a sanctuary for Orphaned Elephants, Rhinos and other animals located off Magadi Road Nairobi, Kenya.

Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage, located in a secluded area of the Nairobi National Park, where orphaned baby elephants amongst other animals are taken care of by a dedicated team of conservationists.

The orphanage is run by Daphne Sheldrick, the wife of the late famous Naturalist, David William Sheldrick who was the founder Warden of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya from its inception in 1948 to 1976.

At 1100 Hours, the baby animals are brought from the National Park for a mud-bath at the orphanage, where for an hour you can get close to them and sometimes touch them.

You can visit between 1100 Hours and 1200 Hours every day and see the elephants being fed and playing. In addition, there is a keeper who will give a talk about the elephants, where they came from, how they are getting on, and how some of the previous orphans are progressing.

The private session strictly between 1500 Hours to 1600 Hours each day allows you to see the animals in private and you will be able to interact with them. This requires advance booking through African Spice Safaris.

Sheldrick Baby Elephant Orphanage is located inside the Nairobi National Park and the drive from the city centre takes approximately 45 minutes. The orphange is open for only an hour daily for the public.

You can get really close to the elephants. The orphanage also takes in rhinos and so if you are lucky you will get the chance to see a young rhino.

Nairobi Night Tour Carnivore Dinner Disco departs at 1800 Hours from your hotel/ residence. This tour features the Carnivore restaurant which is considered 'Africa’s Greatest Eating Experience' and the Simba Saloon Disco next door.

This open-air meat specialty restaurant has strikingly different food, service and atmosphere to anything ever seen in Kenya.

Every type of meat imaginable, including beef, lamb, pork, chicken, Turkey etc, are roasted on traditional Masai swords over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant.

The waiters then carry these swords around the restaurant, carving unlimited amounts of the prime meats onto sizzling, cast iron plates in front of you. A wide selection of salads, vegetable side dishes, and a variety of exotic sauces accompany the meat feast.

Dessert and coffee follow this. The full meal including a soup course is at a set price. After dinner we walk to the Simba Saloon which offers the nicest disco in Nairobi and is located at the Carnivore Restaurant on Langata Road.

The place is huge, with three separate bars, room outside and a large dance floor. This club would even be impressive if it was in America.

The disco is frequented by upper class Kenyans, expatriates and tourists. Wednesday night is Rock Night. Saturday night is Bombay Night and Sunday Night is 'Soul Night' with beats from the 80's.

The night club operates from Wednesday to Sunday and has themed nights to cater for fans of contemporary African music, rock, soul, jazz, Old Skool, and the latest hits.

Bomas Kenya Nairobi cultural day tour explores a cultural centre in Langata introducing you to Kenya’s 23 major tribes and their homesteads.

Bomas of Kenya is situated 10 km's from Nairobi city center, and about a kilometer past the main entrance of Nairobi National Park.

The highlight of the Bomas of Kenya tour is a display of traditional dances, acrobatic shows and a visit to replicas of Kenyan homesteads from twenty-three of the country’s ethnic groups.

Enjoy traditional dances from the local tribes such as Kikuyu, Kalenjin, Luhya, Taita, Masai, Kamba, Kisii, Kuria, Mijikenda and Luo.

The term Bomas, means "homestead". There are several traditional mud huts each representing one of Kenya's major ethnic groups.

Each traditional house is built to the original traditional architecture of an African home as built by the ancestors.

Tea Farm Day Tour Kiambethu Limuru is a half day trip to Kiambethu Tea Farm from Nairobi for an insight into life on a settler farm.

It includes tea tasting, 4 course farm-style lunch inclusive of drinks and an optional guided walk through indigenous forest in Limuru, Tigoni in Kenya.

Kiambethu Tea Farm is just 40 minutes from the heart of Nairobi in Limuru. On your arrival at the Kiambethu Tea Estate, you will be guests for lunch and afternoon tea.

The Kiambethu Estate is located at an altitude of 7000 feet above sea level, in a truly magnificent garden with views of the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro and the Ngong hills and has lush acres of tea plantations that seem to vanish in the horizon.

1100 Hours: The tea farm day tour of Kiambethu in Limuru begins when guests arrive at the farm. The farm owner welcomes you and over a cup of tea you learn the history of the farm and the process of making tea.

The lecture on growth of tea is a good learning experience. For instance, you will see tea pickers on the farm plucking the top two leaves and bud from each plantation. Tea needs good rainfall, which is plenty in the region so tea is picked all year round.

After the tea is picked, they are sent to the factories to be processed and sold to local and export markets. Kenya is the third largest producer of tea after Sri Lanka and India.

1200 Hours: Take a walk to see tea in the field. You will also walk in the indigenous forest with our resident Kenyan guide who will identify the plants and explain how they are traditionally used.

Look out for the Colobus monkeys close up and wander in the gardens which are home to a wide variety of birds and flowers.

1300 Hours: Return to the house to enjoy a pre-lunch drink on the verandah with sweeping views across the tea fields to the Ngong Hills.

Enjoy your three course buffet lunch from our set menu prepared with vegetables from the garden and desserts are topped with cream from our herd of Channel Island cows. After lunch guests depart at leisure.
