Sentrim Samburu Lodge is on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro river in Samburu National Reserve, in the Northern Kenya. The lodge is 345 kilometers north of Nairobi. The journey to Sentrim Samburu involves a 50 minutes flight to the Isiolo Airstrip followed by a 35 minutes drive through Samburu Game Reserve to the Lodge.

The lodge has 21 luxury tents and 1 family house, all with tea / coffee making facilities, minibars, fans, tile/marble floor, personal safe, mosquito nets, clothes racks, furnished verandahs and en-suite bathrooms with permanent shower and flush toilet. The family house features a kitchen, 2 en-suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge area.

Sentrim Samburu Lodge dining room has a seating capacity of 60 guests, but meals can also be enjoyed on your private veranda; as well as a spacious lounge and bar area, where our naturalists deliver fascinating slide shows on most evenings. Guests can enjoy a variety of wines, beers and liquors at the main bar or the pool bar with a log fire next to it.

Sasaab Lodge Samburu Game Reserve Luxury Safari Accommodation is situated above the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, within the Northern Frontier district in the arid heart of Samburu land.

The lodge is a 6 hours drive from Nairobi, across the Equator and past Mount Kenya, into the Northern Frontier District.

By air the camp is 1.5 hours flight from Nairobi into Samburu National Reserve, Buffalo Springs, and then a 1 ½ hour drive through Samburu Reserve to Sasaab with a game drive on the way.

The drive from Nairobi is approximately 9 hours (subject to quality of road), past Mount Kenya and up into the Northern Frontier District.

Sasaab has 9 suites all over 100 meters squared. Suites 8 and 9 are joined and share a private plunge pool. All other rooms have their own private plunge pool.

Each cottage lavishly fitted with 4 poster bed(s), fan, mosquito net, in room safe, private plunge pool and an enormous open-air bathroom with a double vanity and an undercover, open-sided shower with a view.

The cuisine at Sasaab Lodge Samburu is impeccable, using only the freshest ingredients from their own vegetable garden.

Guest can enjoy their meals in the dining tent or al-fresco. The lodge has also has a main swimming pool, built on the hillside overlooking the river where guests can relax in the hot afternoons.

The lodge’s modern beauty and health centre “Sasaab” uses 100% natural skin care products like the Liz Earle skin care products and an assortment of natural Kenyan ingredients for treatments and is located on the banks of the river, allowing guests to relax and get pampered amongst breathtaking scenery.

The Spa also offers enough room for yoga and palates classes.

Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp

Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp is situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the arid heart of Samburu National Reserve, 345 kilometers north of Nairobi. The journey to the camp involves a 50-minute flight to the Samburu airstrip followed by a 20-minute drive through the reserve.

The camp sits on raised decks overlooking the brown Uaso Nyiro river and has 28 modern luxury tents comprising of twin tents, double tents, single tents and triple tents. Each thatched roof tent is tastefully fitted with 4 poster bed, mahogany closet, work desk, balcony and en-suite bathroom with a steaming hot shower, twin washbasins and flush toilet.

The thatched guest seating area, dining room and bar are located in a single structure where guests can spend time with a good hardcover from the camp library while sipping a cool drink. The lounge and bar area also offers an ideal venue where the Samburu naturalists deliver fascinating slide shows on most evenings and an intimate conference room with a television for viewing wildlife documentaries.

Ngari Hill Ecolodge Maralal

Ngari Hill Ecolodge Maralal is located in Maralal, 3.2 km from Maralal Game Sanctuary. The guesthouse is approximately 350 km from Nairobi and it takes about 6 hours drive.

The nearest airstrip is Kisima Airstrip which is 20 km away from the guesthouse. The lodge has 2 standard rooms, 4 superior cottages, 2 exclusive tents and a budget campsite.

The standard rooms are en-suite with either a double or twin wooden beds and are decorated with carefully selected Kenyan antiques made from natural resource.

The thatched cottages are en-suite and are tastefully fitted with wardrobes and lounge seats and have offer a stunning fusion of a calm relaxing view of Ngari Hill.

One of the cottages has large open fireplace with a lounge area, writing table, wardrobe, and bathtub.

The tents have thatched roof and placed on an elevated wooden platform giving it a magnificent view of Ngari Hill.

Each tent features a writing table, wardrobe, and a comfortable lounge seating, verandah and a luxury bathroom with bath tub.

There is a campsite that can accommodate up to 15 tents. The campsite is located on top of ‘Ngari Hill’ with magnificent views all around. Guests here can either pitch their own tents or hire from the lodge.

There are shared bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets near the campsite.

The Ngari Hill Ecolodge Maralal offers variety of dishes which are mainly prepared from ingredients that are locally available in and around Maralal.

The well stocked bar serves a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. There is also a fine selection of wines.

The ecolodge has a large lounging area where guests can relax in comfortable seats; watch their favorable television programme as they enjoy drinks and snacks.

Here guests can meet with their friends and have private or business meetings. The lounge offers full conference services for groups up to 40 guests.

Malabo Resort Lake Turkana is located on the slopes of a plateau which is a kilometer from the shores of the great Lake Turkana. The resort is set in Loyangalani in the Northern part of Kenya and is approximately 578 kilometers from Nairobi.

Lion King Bush Camp Samburu

Lion King Bush Camp Samburu is located along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, approximately 22 kilometers from Archer’s Post directly adjacent to the old bridge in Samburu National Reserve. The camp is 500 kilometers from Nairobi.

There are 5 private tents, each with outside seating area, double beds, private showers and toilets. The camp can put up an extra 2 tents if needed for a larger group. On request some guests pitch their own tents while others use the camp's tents. This is totally possible and a popular arrangement.

The camp has a beautiful dining and lounge area all overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. Guests get to enjoy three home cooked meals each day, early morning tea and coffee served at the tents and in the weekends guests also enjoy traditional Sunday roast, complete with all the trimmings.

Kitich Camp Mathews Forest

Kitich Camp Mathews Forest is set in an 180,000 acre section of Northern Frontier in a stunning forest glade on the upper slopes of the Mathews Mountains.

Mathews Mountain Range is also known as the Lenkiyio Hills and faces the Ngeng River and is surrounded by green wooded hills and craggy peaks. There are 6 safari tents comprising of 3 double tents and 3 twin tents.

Each tent is tastefully with wooden floor, beautiful rugs, furnished verandah and en-suite bathroom with traditional safari “butler” shower, single-sink wooden vanity and long drop toilet. There is also al fresco' Shower.

The main living area is one very large room used for dining and sitting. It also houses the bar and a fireplace is built naturally, with rocks and local wood.

The food is as good as it should be with an Italian food-lover overseeing it. A delicious mix of Italian and Middle Eastern cuisine, with barbeques too.

With only a maximum of 12 guests here at any one time, meals are taken together, overlooking a lush Ngeng River.
