From Nairobi take the Nakuru road to the Flyover junction about 60 km, then proceed to Njambini town about 24 km, then on to Njabini town towards Engineer, drive straight on to Rironi via Ndunyu Njeru, Mawingo and Miharati townships.
The drive from Njabini to Rironi is approximately 56 km. At Rironi join the murram road for 2 km straight on to Maverick Campsite, Rondavels & Homestay.

2 Days 1 Night Akagera National Park Safari takes you to Akagera National Park – the perfect place for travelers who want to get off the beaten path in Rwanda.
The Akagera national park is only 2.5 hours by road from Kigali the capital meaning you can depart latest midday and do an evening game drive and also have a boat ride on Lake Ihema.
Akagera National Park islocated in eastern Rwanda, it shares the rolling, grassy hills of neighboring Tanzania (as opposed to the forested volcanoes of the northern national parks), and consequently boasts a range of large wildlife unmatched in other Rwandan parks.
Over the course of your 2 days 1 night visit, you're likely to see hippos, baboons, giraffes, antelope, zebras, warthogs, and perhaps even an elephant or two. The park has an amazing variety of wildlife and is entirely worth the visit.
After lunch, we can have a late afternoon boat trip to Nyirabiyoro historical Island for Birding and marine wildlife. We can also have a bird watching from here and we can at least have a checklist of open beak stork, cormorant, fish eagle, and pelicans among others.
Other wildlife we can see is Hippopotamus and Crocodile. Nyirabiyoro is an Island of Lake Ihema which is the biggest lake in Akagera National Park.

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport/ depart from your hotel in Kigali and drive to Akagera National Park, Eastern Rwanda which is approximately 2 and a half hours drive. On arrival, you will enjoy a nature walk. Have lunch and in the afternoon, go for the canoe ride on Lake Ihema.

3 Days 2 Night Saadani National Park Flying Safari begins with a flight from Zanzibar, Dar-es-salaam or Arusha, Tanzania. Saadani is the 1st Tanzania coastal wildlife sanctuary located on the Indian Ocean 45 km north of Bagamoyo.
The park covers 1100 kilometers square and is the only wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania bordering the sea. Flights from Zanzibar to Saadani depart at 0900 hours arriving at 0915 hours; Dar es Salaam to Saadani departing at 0830 hours arriving at 0915 hours while Arusha to Saadani departing 1245 hours arriving 1445 hours.
During your 2 night stay at Saadani National Park, you have the options of the following activities game drives, river boat safaris, canoeing, walking safaris, bird walks, Snorkeling off the sand bank, Swahili Village tour, Maasai community tour and visits to historical sites & cultural sites.
Animals of Saadani National park include Liechtenstein Hartebeest and the rare Roosevelt sable. Good populations of Elephant, Buffalo, hippo and crocodile, also Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Giraffe, Greater kudu, Red duckier and Reedbuck, Warthog, Waterbucks, Wildebeest & Zebra and also bird life is extensive.

Day 1: Zanzibar – Fly to Saadani National Park
Early in the morning after your breakfast at the hotel you will get a briefing from your drive guide about safari. Depart 0945 Hours from Zanzibar directly to Saadani arrival at 1000 Hours, meet and greet then head to Wami River for a boat trip having a chance to see many wild animals along the river drinking water not forgetting giant crocodile and many birds species.
Lunch at the river or Saadani Village followed by an afternoon game drive in the park where you have having chances to see four of the Big Five, namely Masai lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards.

Day 2: Explore Saadani National Park
Early morning game drive in Saadani National Park and thereafter return to the lodge for breakfast. The park has a large population of hippos, crocodiles, flamingoes, and many large bird species. Giraffe and wildebeest can be spotted and elephants have been seen playing on the beach.
Lighten up for the rest of the morning and have luxurious lunch at lodge.
In the afternoon enjoy a boat safari in Wami River if you did not have one yesterday which offers probably the best boat safari in Tanzania; the river safari passes flocks of flamingoes at the mouth of the estuary before entering the river with its abundant wildlife and profusion of bird life.

2 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Tour Virunga National Park begins in Rwanda, Kigali or Goma in Democratic republic of Congo. Democratic republic of Congo is a well known destination that hosts primate’s right from chimpanzee, mountain gorillas & Eastern lowland gorillas.
Gorilla tracking in the Virunga National Park near Goma sets off from the Bukima ranger post 60km from the Goma town with a drive time of at least 2 hours due to the rough volcanic terrain.
Goma sits right on Lake Kivu which is also the main border crossing point east of Congo. Virunga has 8 Gorillas families, 4 families at Bukima having 41 members in total. Humba has 10, Rugendo 10, Nyakamwe 12 and Munyaga 9.

Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Goma town in Democratic Republic of Congo
After your breakfast at your Kigali/ or arrival in Kigali international Airport, meet with your driver guide for a briefing of the 2 days gorilla trek in the Virunga National Park – Congo. There after depart by road driving to the northern province as we enjoy the rolling hills of Rwanda.
We arrive in gisenyi in time for lunch and later cross to Congo through Goma border crossing point and check in at the immigration center for your visa processing and immunisation office. (Present your Yellow fever card). Kindly note that Yellow fever, Tetanus and Polio vaccines are mandatory).
After crossing into Democratic republic of Congo (DRC), we proceed to our accommodation for the night as we prepare for the next days gorilla trek in Congo.
Dinner and Overnight at your preffered lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Virunga National Park
After our early morning breakfast, tahe some packed lunch box with bottled water and drive to Virunga National Park’ headquarters (Bukima). Upon arrival you will have an orientation where you will be briefed about the Dos and Don’ts when interacting with the Gorillas.
You will be assigned with a park armed ranger guide and trekker guides for your day gorilla tracking adventure with each group consisting of 4 travelers. Set off into the forest in Parc National Des Virunga for the actual gorilla tracking.
Set off time shall be at 0930 hours with great views of Mikeno mountain in the background of Bukima in the Virunga National Park. This may take around 3 to 4 hours.
When you meet them, keep a short distance from them and take photos with cameras that don’t have flashes. In the course of gorilla tracking you will as well encounter some other primates like golden monkey, blue monkey, black and white colobus monkey, forest hogs as well as different bird species.
After one hour of this vigorous exercise,drive back to the hotel in Kisoro for lunch and refreshments and then drive back to Kigali reaching late in the evening. The Virunga National Park has 8 gorilla families with a total of 450 gorillas of among which 135 members are habituated.
We have four gorilla families around Bukima with a total of 41 members. After a succesful gorilla trek, return later to receive your certificates and drive back to Kigali in Rwanda reaching in the evening and depart.

Mount Meru Climbing Tour 2 Days 1 Night Hike is a short trekking holiday on Tanzania second highest mountain, without reaching the summit. Mt. Meru is located in the heart of Arusha National Park and it is 50 miles west of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Mount Meru is a massive volcano reaching 14,980 feet (4,565 meters). This trek serves as an ideal warm up for Mt. Kilimanjaro due to its altitude acclimatization and hiking distances.
Momella Gate is home to Arusha National Park Headquarters. It is also the starting point for Mt. Meru hikes and walking safaris in the park.
The trek begins from Momella Gate (1500 metres/ 4200 Feet) where you meet your armed ranger. The hike starts at around 1000 hours and along the way you are likely to see buffalo, bushbucks, biraffes, warthogs, and zebras. Porters are not mandatory and one can carry as much of your own gear as you want.
There are two routes to get from Momella to Miriakamba Hut. The northern route is the most direct one, taking an estimated 2-3 hours to reach Miriakamba. It begins by crossing an open plain, where you can often see buffalo, giraffes and warthogs.
Then it continues steadily up the mountainside, through grassland and forest, until you reach Miriakamba Hut at 2514m. The southern route is longer, taking between 4 to 6 hours. This route goes towards the crater floor through the forest, and eventually climbing steeply up to Miriakamba Hut.
The forest is a good place to see some animals, and the path also passes under the Fig Tree Arch. Chances are that your armed ranger will recommend you to take the northern route, which is shortest (and less work for both of you).
However, the most interesting route is probably the southern one, and if you want to walk that route just discuss it with your ranger. A possible option is to agree on taking to southern route when coming down.

Day 1: Arusha – Transfer to Momella Gate (4,920 Ft. / 1,500 M) – Hike to Miriakamba Hut (8,250 Ft/ 2,514 M)
Morning transfer from Arusha into Arusha National Park, to the Momella Gate (about 1.5 hours). After completion of administrative formalities and meeting with the guide, porters and ranger, you will begin the 4 to 5 hour trek to Miriakamba Hut, through the crater floor.
The gentle uphill trek will take you through thick woodland, past the giant fig tree arch up to the Itikoni clearing where there are likely to buffalo grazing. Then you’ll then cross a large stream just above the Maio waterfalls, and take a steep path up the crater rim wall to Miriakamba.
You may encounter elephant along the way, and an armed ranger will escort you at every step. Have dinner then retire for the night at Miriakamba Hut.

Hike a little further with your guide, the hike will take you though a mix of trees and pleasant glades up to Mgongo wa Tembo (elephant ridge), where you will have a clear view of Meru crater and the cliffs below the summit.
On this 2 to 3 hour trek you will once again have the chance to see giraffes, buffaloes elephants as well as the black and white colobus monkeys.
Arriving at the gate you will say farewell to your hiking crew and be taken back to Arusha.

Day 2: Explore Ngorongoro Crater
This morning we descend 2,000 feet into the giant caldera of this extinct volcano. This magnificent natural amphitheatre contains the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa.
Prides of lion, black rhino and elephant share this land with the legendary Masai tribesmen. Because the grasses are short, game is easily spotted and can be approached quite closely.
Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food.
We spend a splendid morning on the floor of the crater observing wildlife in this ageless World Heritage Site.

Day 1: Arusha Town – Drive to Tarangire National Park

Day 3: Explore Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast descend down over 600 meters to the crater floor for ½ day crater tour. Ngorongoro Crater is home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five.
It's a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha Town
After a leasure breakfast we head to Arusha. We check into the New Arusha Hotel or similar and enjoy a few hours of relaxation by the pool or perhaps revisit a favorite shop or two.
Alternatively we transfer staright to Kilimanjaro International Airport. After dinner we proceed to the Kilimanjaro International airport knowing that this has been a journey to remember for the rest of our lives.
