Shwari House Beachfront Holiday Home Watamu is a 6 bedroom Beachfront Holiday House on Turtle Bay Beach, overlooking the Watamu Marine Park and the Indian Ocean in Watamu in Kenya.

The name Shwari comes from Swahili meaning peace and tranquility. The house is a private boutique villa with a capacity of 14 Guests offering you the perfect seaside getaway in Wamatu.

The house is set over three floors with an infinity pool right on one of the stunning parts of Turtle Bay Beach, overlooking the Watamu Marine Park and the Indian Ocean.

The 6 spacious en-suite bedrooms provide comfort and privacy for ultimate relaxation, all with spectacular views over the Indian Ocean. They all have en-suite bathrooms, with 3 fixed double beds and 3 rooms that can be double, twin or family rooms.

All bedrooms and bathrooms include electronic safe, cinnabar Green bath products and ceiling fans. Shwari House Watamu offers both self-catering and catered options and is fully staffed including a chef and security.

Canoe Safari Lake Manyara National Park Tanzania offers guests an opportunity to see an incredible array of bird life, including thousands of pink-hued flamingos.

You can get very close to giraffes, elephants, buffalos and other animals grazing on the shoreline. All from the comfort of your canoe. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the beauty that surrounds you on this 2.5 hours canoe safari.

The tour is available either in the morning or afternoon and begins with a transfer from your hotel to Lake Manyara National Park. Once in the park we drive to our launching site called Endala picnic site. Here you will go aboard a stable two man canoe.

The equipment used is a stable 2 person’s fiber glass canoe. This canoe safari perfectly combines the excitement of a game drive with the relaxation of being out on the water.

Accompanied by a qualified guide, the canoe glides over the smooth lake water (20m offshore) as you look for interesting bird life such as flamingos and many other bird species.

You’ll also be able to spot a number of other animals grazing on the shoreline and quenching their thirst. You should be able to see zebra, giraffes, elephants, hippos, and even buffalo as you cruise up the water at a leisurely pace.

Lake Manyara Night Game Drive Safari is particularly spectacular, with the moon reflecting off the lake. The night game drive begins from Lake Manyara National Park gate at 1930 hours.

Alternative if staying in the park ( at Andbeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, you start after an early dinner, leave the lodge at about 2000 and explore the park for approximately 3 hours.

Before the beginning you will be introduced to your night guides followed by a brief introduction about the 'do's and don'ts' while on a night game drive.

Your expert guide will take you through the park’s diverse habitats in search of nocturnal animals and sounds, giving you a completely different perspective of the lake and the Rift Valley Escarpment.

There is an abundance of elusive animals that are rarely seen in the day, but that are incredibly active at night. Keep your eyes open, and hopefully you will be lucky enough to spot shy genets, lithe civet cats and prickly porcupines.

Possibly easier to see will be the massive hippos happily foraging under a leafy tree on the road side. Hippos are nocturnal animals (active by night). It is a rare sight to see a hippo out of the water during the day.

Fleeting leopards often wander around the park and, even though it is not a given that you will see one, there are regular sightings of them.

The kings of the jungle, the golden lions, pride themselves on sleeping all day so fortunately, you are sure to see them as they are most mobile at night.

Later you will return back through the ground water forest and have you back at the park gate around 2230 hours or back to Andbeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge if staying inside the park.

Kindly note that night game drives are not available in the Serengeti or Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 2: Explore the Maasai Mara National Reserve
Spend the day exploring the Mara. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is an exciting wildlife eco-system and hosting over 100 species of animals and over 500 recorded species of birds.

The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Fly to Nairobi
Wake up early for your last morning game drive. This is the best time as the predators are active at this time. Return to the camp for breakfast and check out.

4 Days 3 Nights Kicheche Valley Camp Flying Safari Package takes you to Naboisho Conservancy in Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Your accommodations are at Kicheche Valley Camp Mara – an intimate luxury tented camp composed of only 6 tents sitting on platforms amongst the trees and rocky outcrops.

With strict controls on bed and vehicle numbers in this community driven conservation area, a high quality wilderness experience is assured all year round.

Kicheche Valley Camp Mara offers 6 stunning tents sited on platforms. The tent decks provide the perfect location to relax and soak in the wilderness as birds fly through and the animals pass by.

Each tent is spacious, fully insect-proof and equipped with a desk, sofa and luggage racks. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet and hot and cold running water. Family suites (1 double & 2 singles) are available on request.

Kicheche Valley Camp Mara is set on the Eastern side of the 50,000 hectare Mara Naboisho conservancy in a beautiful secluded valley dotted with Acacia trees.

The location is close to both the Enniskeria river region, with it’s stunning granite outcrops and permanent pools popular with the resident wildlife, and the vast plains to the north hosting large numbers of plains game and containing a vital elephant corridor.

The valleys to the west provide a scenic backdrop whilst game driving and are ideal for game walks. Access is from Ol Seki airstrip, a 10 minute drive from the camp.

Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve
Take the 45 minute scheduled morning or afternoon flight from Wilson Airport, Nairobi to the Masai Mara.  You will be met at the Siana airstrip and transferred across the plains to the camp.

Freshen up before lunch. Afterwards, relax and absorb the surroundings before setting off on an afternoon game drive till sunset. Return to camp for hot showers, then an aperitif before dining under the stars.

Kicheche Bush Camp 4 Days 3 Nights Flying Safari takes you the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve by air to the Olare Motorogi Conservancy.

Your accommodations will be at the Kicheche Bush Camp – a small, classic, intimate, luxury tented camp completely unfenced, accommodating a maximum of twelve guests.

Kicheche Bush Camp is located in the Masai Mara within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy bordering the Reserve. The Conservancy, through it’s strict limit on bed numbers, offers an incomparable game viewing experience without crowds.

Kicheche Bush Camp is located in a prime wildlife area and game viewing starts at your doorstep. The location is also ideal to enjoy the wildebeest migration. Access is from Ol Kiombo airstrip, 40 minutes game drive away.

3 Days 2 Nights Olare Mara Kempinski Flying Safari is one of the most luxurious camps in the Mara, with very spacious guest tents, constructed on raised wooden platforms with balconies looking out over the savannah plains or the river.

Nestled in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy – home to a huge variety of wildlife – visitors are often surprised as to how close they are to nature whilst at the camp.

The camp has only 12 guest tents with a maximum of 24 guests staying at a time. The tents are furnished to the highest standards and have en suite luxury bathrooms.

Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara promises high quality cuisine and guest activities include sundowners in the conservancy and bush dinners as well as game drives in 4×4 safari vehicles and escorted nature walks with professional guides.

Day 2: Explore the Maasai Mara National Reserve
Set off just before sunrise in search of game as you enjoy the richness of the Park's wildlife and endless savannah.

The ecosystem hosts over 95 species of mammals and more than 550 recorded species (5 globally threatened).

Other activities in the conservancy include walk safaris, horse riding or a visit to a Masai Manyatta to learn the local life style.  As the sun sets return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
