    Here the broad arid plains give way to the spectacular Loroghi Hills and the high, wild Matthews ranges. Dry river beds course through this land, and have become the tracks and routes of nomadic camel trains.

    The Maralal National Sanctuary is situated in Maralal and is home to zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, warthogs, baboons and other wildlife.

    Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Maralal
    After breakfast, depart for Maralal via Nyahururu with a stop at the spectacular Thomson’s fall for lunch as you view the falls. Later proceed to the hotel in Maralal for dinner and accommodation

    Day 2 & 3: Camel Trekking/ Walking
    After breakfast depart with your camel and Morans, cook and security guards into the bush for the 2 days walking or riding as you go by.

    You will ride through the area enjoying the panoramic views of landscape and also get to watch wild animals on your top your camel.

    Lunch will be served en-route at the place you will camp for the night. Thereafter, an optional guided walk through the bush before dinner and overnight under the stars and skies of Africa.

    Day 4: Camel Trekking/ Walking

    Kit-Mikayi name is a Luo dialect meaning 'The Stone of the First Wife'. This Impressive rock formation has lots of historical significance and a visit offers you an opportunity to learn more about the Luo culture and believes.

    Other places of interest on this tour include a visit to the Ndere Island National Park on Lake Victoria which is a haven for birds.

    After breakfast, depart Nairobi for Kisumu town. Today you will visit Kit Mikayi is a large rock with three rocks on top. It stands tall above many surrounding rocks in Kangeso village.

    Kit Mikayi is a Mysterious rock formation located in a village about 30 km from Kisumu, 3rd largest city of Kenya after Nairobi and Mombasa. Kit Mikayi means “Stone of the First Wife”.

    The safari begins with a visit to the Tsavo West National Park – a wild land of broken volcanic hills, and dense acacia woodland.

    The park is a home to the shaggy maned lions which are the descendants of the legendary man eaters. The vegetation supports large herds of antelopes, zebras and buffaloes.

    The Rhino Valley is full of leopard’s sightings with the provision of dramatic shadow of Ngulia Hills.

    The Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary is manned by armed guards which provide a safe view of the black Rhino who are in the brink of Buffaloes and red-hued elephants are also common in this park.

    Our next stop is Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary – a privately owned sanctuary, located in Taita-Taveta.

    It hosts cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, Maasai lion, Maasai giraffe, zebra, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck, Thomson’s gazelle, lesser kudu, dik-dik, and other smaller animals as well as a great diversity of birdlife.

    Lastly we visit the Tsavo East National Park – home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust–red elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser kudu and gerenuk.

    Day 1: Mombasa – Drive to Tsavo West National Park
    After breakfast at your hotel in Mombasa, our drive takes us to Tsavo West National Park. Arrive in the park in time for lunch. Later enjoy an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon.

    The Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops.

    It’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. The Movie Ghost and the Darkness was shot here.

    Other notable features include Mzima Springs which are water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption.

    Day 2: Tsavo West National Park – Drive to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary
    After breakfast and drive to Mzima Springs – a natural aquifer with an underwater observatory tank to see Hippos and Crocodiles. Later proceed to Taita Hills sanctuary and check in at the lodge for lunch.

    Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary hosts Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Lion, Masai giraffe, Zebra, Hartebeest, Impala, Waterbuck, Thomson's gazelle, Lesser Kudu, Dik-dik, and other smaller animals, including a great diversity of bird life.

    In the afternoon we explore the park on a game-drive. The sanctuary is majorly savanna with some few areas covered with bushes and thicket. As the name suggests the sanctuary offers panoramic views of the neighboring Taita hills.

    Day 3: Taita Hills Game Sanctuary – Drive to Tsavo East National Park

    Tsavo East National Park is a natural area of flat, dry plains, with thorny bushes and swampy marshland near the river.

    It is teeming with diverse Kenyan animals including large families of giraffes, gazelles, hartebeests and zebras, as well as the "Big Five" must-see animals – buffalo, African elephants, lions, rhinos and leopards.

    Enjoy an afternoon game drive, later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

    Kit-Mikayi (also spelled Kit Mikayi, Kitmikayi, and Kitmikaye) is a rock formation, a tor, around 40 meters high situated about 29 km west of the town of Kisumu in western Kenya. Kisumu formerly Port Florence, is the Kenyan inland port city on Lake Victoria.

    The rock formation is located about a km from the Kisumu-Bondo road. KIT- MIKAYE: According to the Luo legend, these famous rocks form the place where Mikaye (the mother of Luo tribe) sheltered herself after a long journey down the Nile.

    The local people still believe that Mikaye can be spotted around this place to this today. Included in the tour is also a visit to Ndere Island National Park located on Lake Victoria.

    The Island is a 45 minutes ride on a speed boat direct from Kisumu city or a 40 km drive and a 20 minutes boat ride to the island.

    2 Nights 3 Days Kenya Barack Obama Roots Safari is a short cultural trip that takes you to the community of Nyang’oma Kogelo village where the father of the USA President Barack Obama’s father was born and bred.

    The tour begins in Nairobi. Kogelo, also known as Nyang’oma Kogelo, is a rural village in Alego – Siaya District, Nyanza Province, Kenya.

    Kogelo village is located near the equator, 40 km west-northwest of Kisumu City (the provincial capital). The Kisumu–Siaya road leads to Kogelo branching from Ng’iya junction.

    You tour will include the following places:

    – Equator line at Maseno
    – Local villages in the surrounding

    Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Kisumu
    After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi for Kisumu City via Nakuru – Kericho arrive in Kisumu late in the evening with lunch en route.

    Day 2: Kisumu – Kogelo (Obama's Home)
    After breakfast at your residence, proceed to Kogelo taking the Kisumu Busia road which will take about an hours’ drive. Along the way we pass the Maseno University and proceed a further 150 meters to the Equator Line Point.

    After a photo session along the Equator line, we proceed to Luanda town then, then divert to the left as we drive to Ngiya market. Usually every Tuesdays are market days.

    Our next stop is a visit to Kogelo Dispensary located 15 minutes away from Ngiya market. Next visit the Kogelo market, Kogelo primary school and later Senator Barack Obama Secondary School.

    You will then enter Sarah Obama’s home behind the secondary school. Kogelo is the ancestral home of Barack Obama Senior, the father of former United States President; Barack Obama.

    Barack Obama Senior is buried in the village. Some of their family members, including his paternal grandmother Sarah Anyango Obama, still live in the home.

    .At Sarah Obama’s home, you will find both the grave sites for Barack Obama Senior and his father’s. You will visit the vegetable garden, the cattle Boma and sit under the big mango trees where Sarah will give you the history of the home etc

    Later return back to Kisumu arriving early evening. After the visit, you will proceed to Siaya town and onto Yala Swamp before crossing the River Yala and onto Bondo district and then back to Kisumu city for dinner and overnight at your hotel.

    2 Days 1 Night Lake Nakuru Lake Bogoria Safari takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park. This Park is just 4 Kilometers south of Nakuru town in central Kenya and 160 Kilometers northwest of Nairobi.

    Nakuru is arguably the most renowned among Kenya's Rift Valley lakes and one of the best known African parks in the entire world, with its alkaline waters fringed at times by more than one million flamingos.

    Nakuru is also the big success story for rhino. There are some 60 black rhinos here, as well as 40 white, though it is the white that you see mostly as the black are much more reclusive.

    Nakuru is also justifiably famous for leopards. Among the other species which proliferate in the park, the most impressive are the buffalo, giraffe and water buck.

    There are also almost 500 species of birds including possibly the highest concentration of the beautiful long crested eagle anywhere.

    Lake Bogoria geysers and hot springs are the major attractions which are at the central basin of the lake.

    Animal found in Lake Bogoria National Reserve include: Greater Kudu, Burchell’s Zebra warthogs, Forest hog Impala, Klipspringers, Cape buffalo, Patas Monkeys among others.

    Later on, proceed by road to Nairobi. Arrive back in Nairobi and drop off at your residence or Hotel.

    The lake is situated between Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha on Soysambu Conservancy.

    Soysambu is a private conservancy of 48,000 acres nestled and is home to abundant wildlife including over 400 species of birds and has one of the highest densities of game in Kenya.
