2 Days 1 Night Lake Nakuru Lake Bogoria Safari

2 Days 1 Night Lake Nakuru Lake Bogoria Safari takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park. This Park is just 4 Kilometers south of Nakuru town in central Kenya and 160 km northwest of Nairobi.

Nakuru is arguably the most renowned among Kenya’s Rift Valley lakes and one of the best-known African parks in the entire world, with its alkaline waters fringed at times by more than one million flamingos.

Nakuru is also a big success story for rhinos. There are some 60 black rhinos here, as well as 40 white, though it is the white that you see mostly as the black is much more reclusive. Lake Nakuru National is also justifiably famous for leopards. Among the other species which proliferate in the park, the most impressive are the buffalo, giraffe, and waterbuck.

There are also almost 500 species of birds including possibly the highest concentration of the beautiful long-crested eagle anywhere. You also get to visit Lake Bogoria National Reserve – a saline water shallow located in the northern region of the Kenyan Rift, 25 kilometres south of Lake Baringo.

Lake Bogoria geysers and hot springs are the major attractions that are at the central basin of the lake. Animal found in Lake Bogoria National Reserve includes Greater Kudu, Burchell’s Zebra warthogs, Forest hog Impala, Klipspringers, Cape buffalo, and Patas Monkeys among others.

Predators include genet, serval cats, cite, and white-tailed mongooses and cheetahs. The Tugen traditional artefacts and resident traditional dancers provide a unique and thrilling experience for the tourists.
