Ol Pejeta is East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary and the only place in Kenya to view chimpanzees (Kenya’s only chimpanzee sanctuary). After spending a night at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, we proceed to Samburu National Reserve situated 185 km north of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The reserve is reach in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (Also referred as Samburu Special).
