Boat Safaris Lake Nakuru National Park is an exciting yet relaxing lake safari experience with plenty of interesting sights to enjoy. The boat safari is provided by an experienced Lake Nakuru resident Naturalist and the boats range from 7 people to 8-person capacities.
Lake Nakuru National Park is a scenic game park with various vegetation varying from open savannah grassland to thickets and woodlands, grass plains to dusty shorelines, high cliffs to sloppy sub escarpments, and rocky grounds to marshy/ swampy areas.
This different vegetation gives it different habitats to host a number of other animals and plant species where animals are left to move freely in the park as they mark their suitable territories.
These animals include about 55 species of mammals where the common ones are the lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, waterbuck, impala, gazelles, Roth’s child giraffe, zebras, etc in the water there are the hippos and the waterfowl (bird), and a special type of fish, Tilapia graham. On the rocks and cliffs are the snakes (pythons) amongst other reptiles.
Our Lake Nakuru boat safaris are offered on set departure times throughout the year, with no more than eight passengers accompanied by a Lake Nakuru resident Naturalist. If you are a group of friends or a family, this can also be booked on an exclusive basis for half and full-day safaris on the lake.
This boat is tailored to the needs of individual travelers, groups, and a photo safari tour. If you are a group of friends or a family you can book the boat on an exclusive basis for half and full-day safaris on the lake.
