Mombasa Safari Tsavo West Amboseli 4 Days 3 Nights Tour Mombasa Safari Tsavo West Amboseli 4 Days 3 Nights Tour

Mombasa Safari Tsavo West Amboseli 4 Days 3 Nights Tour begins in Mombasa and ends in Mombasa.

This 4 Day safari from Mombasa is a popular group or private safari featuring both Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli National Park.

Our safari begins with Tsavo West National Park which is situated west of its sister, Tsavo East National Park, and is approximately 188 km west of Mombasa (through Tsavo Gate near Manyani).

There are many tourist attractions at Tsavo West National Park, from safari tours to see elephants, as well as to members of the rest of the "Big 5" African animals (buffalo, lions, leopards and rhinos).

There is also a host of Kenyan birds and other animals, both large and small, to see.

Other attractions include Lake Jipe attracts a lot of wildlife and is a good place for bird watching.

Mzima Springs where you can watch hippos bathing underwater, visit the Lava Flows and Caves for geological interest; explore the caves or hike along the lava flow.

The cliff faces in Tsavo West offer some of the best rock climbing in Kenya. The views over the savanna plains are spectacular, and Mt Kilimanjaro can also be seen on occasion.

Amboseli National Park is only 140 km from tsavo West National Park. Spend two nights in Amboseli – renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants.

There are over 900 African elephants in Amboseli, as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas and antelope.

With its awesome view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa's highest mountain at 5,895m), Amboseli National Park offers a unique and breathtaking backdrop for viewing Africa's animals.

Other attractions in Amboseli National Park include Bird watching, visit Observation Hill, which overlooks the park and swamps, meet the Maasai people and learn about the Maasai culture and their indigenous lifestyle.

Mombasa Safari Tsavo West Amboseli 4 Days 3 Nights Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa – Drive to Tsavo West National Park

It’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life.

Other notable features include Mzima Springs which are water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption.

The Movie Ghost and the Darkness was shot here.
