2 Days 1 Night Tsavo West National Park Luxury Flying Safari is a short overnight safari holiday to Tsavo West National Park from Nairobi by air. The flying time is about an hour from Wilson Airport Nairobi. Depending on the choice of the lodge, our flying package flights will land close to your accommodations in Tsavo West.
You can land at Kilaguni airstrip or at Finch Hattons airstrip and at Ol Donyo Lodge airstrip in the Chyulu Hills. Our overnight safari offers you activities such as a visit to the biggest attraction in Tsavo West National Park called the Tsavo West Mzima Springs – enjoy watching hippos, crocodiles and fish in the water, monkeys, etc.
There are many Kenyan animals in the park, including giraffes, cheetahs, wild dogs, hartebeest, and red-skinned elephants, as well as members of the rest of the “Big 5” African animals (buffalo, African lions, leopards, and rhinos).
Another attraction in Tsavo West includes a visit to Lake Jipe which attracts a lot of wildlife and is a good place for bird watching. Take a boat excursion on the lake, or explore the swamps at each end. Bird watching is very popular and includes migratory birds such as African skimmers, red and yellow bishops, goshawks, buffalo weavers, and palm nut vultures, to name a few.
Lake Jipe and the acacia woodlands also attract many birds including ostriches, kestrels, buzzards, starlings, weavers, kingfishers, hornbills, secretary birds, and herons.

Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Tsavo West National Park
0600 Hours: After breakfast, we drive to Wilson Airport for our scheduled early morning flight to Tsavo West National Park.
0730 Hours: Flight departs Wilson Airport for Tsavo West National Park.
0820 Hours: Flight lands in Kilaguni or Finch Hatton’s airstrips in Tsavo West, and at Ol Donyo Lodge airstrip in the Chyulu Hills. Upon arrival, you will be met by our professional safari driver guide and proceed on a safari game drive.
During your safari game drive, you are likely to see the black rhinoceros, Gerenuk, Red Elephants, Hunter’s hartebeest, Oryx, and wild dogs among other mammal’s species and birdlife.
1230 Hours: We check in to our lodge followed by lunch and later an afternoon siesta/ rest.
1530 Hours: Afternoon tea/ coffee or hot chocolate with biscuits/ cakes is served at the lounge followed by a game drive. We visit Mzima Springs is at the north end of Tsavo West. Here you can watch hippos bathing underwater.

0950 Hours: Our bush flight arrives back at Nairobi Wilson Airport. We transfer you to your hotel/ residence.
