Andbeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is located in the remote southern end of Lake Manyara National Park, Northern Tanzania approximately a kilometer from the Lake Manyara shore. Lake Manyara National is Tanzania’s smallest Park and is one of the most diverse National Parks in the country. Lake Manyara Tree lodge is located in the remote southwestern region of Lake Manyara, allowing leisurely tracking of the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, and unimpeded viewing of the flocks of pelicans, flamingoes, and buffalo cooling in the soda lake. Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is the only permanent lodge in the park of the same name. Designed to exert minimal impact on the environment. Andbeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge closest Airport is Lake Manyara airstrip. The transfer to the lodge takes a 3½-hour scenic drive game drive through Lake Manyara National Park to the lodge. The entrance gate to Lake Manyara National Park lies 1.5 hours (126 km/80 miles) west of Arusha along a newly surfaced road, close to the ethnically diverse market town of Mto wa Mbu).
Andbeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge features 9 stilted treehouse suites (Maximum 20 guests), crafted from local timber and Makuti palm fronds, weave a sophisticated blend of intimacy and romance, offering privacy and exclusivity in the cool, leafy surroundings, with elephant visitors passing through.
Each treehouse suite features generous decks suspended above the forest floor and large windows invite the lush forest inside. Other lodge amenities; a swimming pool, massage sala, interactive kitchen, signature shop & a dining area that opens up to a traditional African boma.

Canoe Safari Lake Manyara National Park Tanzania
Lake Manyara is home to an incredible array of birdlife, including thousands of pink-hued flamingos. You can get very close to giraffes, elephants, buffalos and other animals grazing on the shoreline. All from the comfort of your canoe. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the beauty that surrounds you on these 2.5 hours of canoe safari. Canoeing begins from the Endala picnic site in Manyara National Park using stable 2-person fiberglass canoes (morning or afternoon). Rated as low to medium. The tour is available either in the morning or afternoon and begins with a transfer from your hotel to Lake Manyara National Park. Once in the park, we drive to our launching site called the Endala picnic site. Here you will go aboard a stable two-man canoe. Accompanied by a qualified guide, the canoe glides over the smooth lake water (20m offshore) as you look for interesting birdlife such as flamingos and many other bird species. You’ll also be able to spot a number of other animals grazing on the shoreline and quenching their thirst. You should be able to see zebra, giraffes, elephants, hippos, and even buffalo as you cruise up the water at a leisurely pace.
