Adere Safari Lodge Kidepo Valley National Park Uganda is a mid-range accommodation strategically located in Kidepo Valley National Park in Northern Uganda about a 12-hour drive from Kampala city. The magnificent Kidepo surrounding provides stunning views of the National Park which gives guests a comfortable sense of luxury.

It takes approximately (604km) 9 hours 24 minutes drive from Kampala to Kidepo national park and 2 hours 15 minutes flight from Entebbe International Airport. Getting to Adere Safari Lodge, guests can choose to book a fly-in safari or a road trip self-drive. The nearest airstrip to Adere safari lodge is Kidepo / Apoka Airstrip 30 minutes drive from the lodge.

Adere Safari Lodge Kidepo Valley National Park Uganda boasts 20 stand-alone chalet cottages that overlook the swimming pool extending to the views of the wilderness. Guests stay in grass-thatched chalet private rooms with large wooden balconies that give you a stunning 360 degrees view of the vast Savannah grassland of Kidepo Valley.

The cottages feature Singles, Doubles, Twins, and Family Rooms. The family cottages have interlocking rooms one with a double bed and 2 single beds in the second room. An extra bed can be provided in the room.

The rooms are exclusively private. All rooms at Adere Safari Lodge have an outdoor dining/sitting area, bedside tables with a lamp, linen, wardrobe, toiletries, clothes rack, bathrobe, an inside bathroom, and an outdoor shower. 

The lodge has an outdoor swimming pool. The swimming pool overlooks the Kidepo Valley National Park for a luxurious aquatic experience. Take a relaxing swim after a busy day on safari or relax at the poolside and order your favorite drink or meal while taking in views of the African wild jungle. There is a  pool for infants and adults as well.

Other amenities at the lodge include; a lounge, a restaurant, a bar, Laundry Service, Wireless Internet, Conference Facilities, and Wheelchair access. Picnic Breakfast, Lunch, Bush Dinner, and Sundowners can be arranged at an extra fee. 

Activities available from Adere Safari Lodge Kidepo Valley National Park Uganda include; day & night game drives, nature trails, bird watching, trekking, wildlife watching, cultural tours, Community Visits, and a cultural visit Karamojong community and the ik tribe.

Kidepo Valley National Park has a profusion of big game. In Kidepo, the Big Four game animals are the lion, leopard, elephant, and Cape buffalo. The Kidepo wildlife park hosts over 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species.

* The swimming pool is 20 US Dollars per person per day
* 3rd Adult sharing – A third person in the cottages with an additional bed will pay 75% of the rate

Child Policy:

* Children aged 12 and above pay the adult rate
* Children aged 4 and younger stay free of charge
* Children aged 5 – 11 pay 60% of the adult rate when sharing with adults and 150 US Dollars when sleeping alone

Honeymoon Suite:

* The honeymoon suite comes with a surprise on arrival at the lodge, a bottle of wine is given in the room, private dinners in a surprise setting could be a bush dinner, breakfast in bed, access to the swimming pool, Jacuzzi

Airstrip Transfers:

* Private pickup in a Land Cruiser is 150 US Dollars Per person per way
* Shared Pickup in a Van is 80 US Dollars per person per way Minimum of 4 guests
