The house sleeps 12 guests in 6 double rooms each with their own bathroom, 1 double has two extra beds for children. Dancing Baobab is located on the cliffs at the mouth of Takaungu Creek with splendid views out to sea and up the creek. The ground floor of this somewhat eccentric house (built to the requirements of an author) has a double ensuite bedroom at each end of a long “living” verandah, with a kitchen off to the side. The first floor is one long verandah, under a makuti roof, with a large bathroom off to the side. Here there are double beds at each end of the verandah, separated from a central sitting area by moveable screens. This area has a large circular bed that can sleep two, if required. For those who like a bit of additional privacy, there is another double bed under a makuti roof on the “tower”, with its own bathroom, located between the baobabs behind the house (originally the writer’s studio). The house has a large swimming pool & access down to the creek via a tunnel. As there are no railings along the edge of the cliff, this house may not be suitable for young children unless closely supervised. House includes an excellent cook,the services of a houseman and a night watchman.

Wesa House is a self-catering house located on its own luxurious private beach with white sand and blue waters 16kms North of the Kilifi Bridge on the road to Watamu & Malindi. The closest towns are Kilifi, which is about 16 km south, and Watamu, which is around 25 km north, where you can find restaurants, sports clubs, shops and much more. Malindi is just a few kms further up the road from Watamu. The house is very eco friendly, and runs on solar to power the fridges, lights, hot water and other house hold appliances, and cooking is done on gas. The house is set a few metres back just from the beach in its own walled garden, making it secure & private. You will experience some amazing views over the ocean and some of the best sunrises and sunsets along the East African coast. Weka sleeps 10 people in a 3 Doubles and 1 triple, one double has an extra bed - all en-suite. The house is fully staffed with an excellent chef, housekeeper, gardener and night guard, and there is a caretaker who makes sure that everything is running smoothly. Large sitting & dining area as well as a large veranda outside for relaxing & outdoor meals overlooking the pool & gardens. There is also a salt water infinity pool at the centre of the plot, and from here there is direct access to the beach.
