Sanctuary Farm House Naivasha is a family-run guest house holiday cottage on Moi South Lake Road in Naivasha inside Sanctuary Farm. The Sanctuary is a 400-acre farm on the shores of Lake Naivasha with abundant game about 95 km from Nairobi.
Sanctuary Farm has converted a stable yard into beautifully and originally designed contemporary guest houses. There are 4 beautifully designed farm cottages:
* Rose Cottage
* Watch Tower
* Pink Rondavel
* Mabati House Cottage
There are 2 fully serviced campsites situated in different locations on the conservancy, each with its very own view out towards the lake, wildlife, and the beautiful Acacia forest. Each cottage can be configured to suit the requirements of your group.
Our generous double beds can be exchanged for twin beds and we have lots of spare beds, baby cots, and camp beds that can be provided for extra guests. All the farm cottages have fully equipped kitchens, private bathrooms, generous living areas, outdoor furniture, and barbecues.
For guests that don’t feel like self-catering, our team of chefs is delighted to cater privately for you, producing Sanctuary Farm’s signature menus in the privacy of your cottage or campsite. There is a campsite set in the forest of indigenous yellow fever trees teeming with wildlife. There is a shower block consisting of four units each with lavatories.
Wood for the campfire is provided on request. The Club House Cafe offers simple meals made from local ingredients as much as possible. The farm is carpeted in Acacia trees and leads down to Lake Naivasha.
There is an abundance of wildlife including giraffes, wildebeest, impala, zebra, Thompson and Grants Gazelle, Dik-dik, Hippo, and buffalo as well as an extraordinarily concentrated variety of birdlife. There is no swimming pool as the family prefers to swim in the lake, and welcomes you to enjoy this.
Sanctuary Farm House Naivasha activities include horse riding, cycling, bird watching, nature walks, boat rides, golfing, and fired earth pottery. Guests can also visit Naivasha Owl Centre, Crescent Island, Hells Gate National Park, Crater Lake, Mount Longonot National Park, and trips to Nakuru National Park and Aberdare National Park.
