Sere Enkang Resort Nanyuki are self-contained located on the banks of river Burguret, along Nairobi – Nanyuki Highway. The resort is located 7 km from Naro Moru and 9 km from Nanyuki town. Nanyuki airstrip is 10 minutes’ drive away it takes about 3-4 hours’ drive from Nairobi.

Nanyuki is a town in central Kenya. It’s known as a gateway to Mount Kenya and the wilderness of Mount Kenya National Park. Several trails, including the Naro Moru and Sirimon routes, ascend the mountain. The park’s wildlife includes leopards, giant forest hogs and more than 100 bird species.

Northwest of Nanyuki, the plains and hills of the vast Laikipia Plateau are home to lions, elephants and rare Grevy’s zebras. From the hotel one can see the snowcapped Mount Kenya on a clear day, which is an hours’ drive from our premises.

Sere Enkang Resort Nanyuki has 11 cozy and luxurious cottages, each with hardwood flooring, a private lounge area warmed by a fire, continental style washroom as well as outdoor living with a deck in front for relaxation during the day.

The bathrooms have running hot water/ cold showers. Some cottages have kitchenettes, hence are on self-catering basis. There is an onsite restaurant serving a variety of cuisine ranging from Italian, Indian, African, Continental, vegetarian among others.

The restaurant has a fireplace and adequate lighting with comfortable seat. The well-stocked bar caters for both non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic drinks. Guests in the self-catering cottages have the option of preparing their own meals or dining in the onsite restaurant.

Sere Enkang Resort activities include: darts, billiards, cycling and there is also a children’s playground. Guests can also get involved in adventure activities such as mountaineering, hikes around Mt Kenya, Ngare Ndare forest, Loldaiga Hills, Paragliding, abseiling, fly fishing and picnics on the mountain.
