Shalom House Centre is an initiative of Koinonia Community, a lay Christian organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. It houses a documentation centre on peace and reconciliation in Africa and various associations promoting a culture of peace such as Koinonia Action for Peace and Koinonia Advisory Research & Development Services.

Shalom House Centre Guest House offers 14 comfortable double and single rooms, 7 comfortable self-contained private rooms and 7 self-contained rooms with bunk beds for 4 persons, all with tiled bathrooms and a hot shower. Each room is equipped with a work desk and high-speed wireless broadband internet.
