Starting from Nanyuki Airfield (or, optionally, from Nairobi), the tour is designed to capture the mountain at sunrise, when visibility is highest, and the peaks are clear of clouds.

0630 Hours – Pickup: Early morning collection from your hotel in or near Nanyuki.

0700 Hours – Arrival at Nanyuki Airfield: Safety briefing and boarding of the helicopter.

0730 Hours – Take-off & Scenic Flight: Fly across diverse vegetation zones, from tropical rainforests and bamboo to moorlands and the afro-alpine zone. Close-range circling of the main peaks: Batian (5,199m), Nelion (5,188m), and Point Lenana (4,985m). Aerial views of glaciers, towering cliffs, and deep valleys.

0830 Hours – Alpine Landing & Picnic: Touch down at a remote alpine lake such as Lake Michaelson, Lake Alice, or Lake Ellis. Enjoy a picnic breakfast in the crisp mountain air.
