11 Days Samburu Sweetwaters Nakuru Mara Amboseli Tsavo West Safari samples the most famous game parks and sceneries.

Samburu National Reserve is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in the dry northern reaches of Kenya. There is plenty of wildlife including Giraffe, buffalo, waterbuck, and zebra (including the endangered Grevy’s zebra) in the reserve.

Sweetwaters Game Reserve is a 90,000-acre private ranch with magnificent views across the plains to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya.

Its popular waterhole is floodlit by night, providing excellent and secluded rarely seen game viewing. Mount Kenya National Park is the second tallest mountain in Africa.

It is pristine wilderness with lakes, tarns, glaciers, dense forest, mineral springs, and a selection of rare and endangered species of animals, high altitude adapted plains game, and unique montane and alpine vegetation.

Nakuru is arguably the most renowned among Kenya’s Rift Valley lakes and one of the best known African parks in the entire world, with its alkaline waters fringed at times by more than one million flamingos.

Masai Mara is the best place to see the “Big 5” animals (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo) together. It is also famous for the wildebeest migration as the animals cross the Mara River.

Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania.

Tsavo West National Park is home to red elephants, as well as to members of the rest of the “Big 5” African animals (buffalo, African lions, leopards, and rhinos).

Visit attractions such as Mzima Springs to watch the hippos bathing underwater, visit the Lava flows and caves for geological interest; explore the caves, or hike along with the lava flow.
