This 12-day Kenya Luxury Safari & Beach Holiday is the ultimate combination of adventure and relaxation. Begin your journey with a stay at the elegant Giraffe Manor situated in a leafy neighborhood of Nairobi. Experience a breakfast with a difference: interacting with the giraffes of Giraffe Manor hotel, an excellent start to a Kenya Bush & Beach Safari.
You can take some great local excursions from Giraffe Manor, including a trip to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust where you can meet orphaned elephant and rhinoceros and the Karen Blixen Museum, dedicated to the great Danish explorer.
Then it’s off to Sasaab camp, situated in Samburu National Reserve a conservation area well-known for its mix of classic savannah animals and some of northern Kenya’s more unusual species. The game viewing is unique as you search for the Samburu Special Five – Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Gerenuk and Beisa oryx.
Go out on morning, afternoon and evening game drives as well as guided nature walks along the river. Back at Sasaab camp, lounge on Moroccan-style cushions before a dip in the main swimming pool or in the privacy of your own plunge pool.
After two nights in Samburu fly to Solio Game Reserve. There is plenty to do at Solio Lodge including trout fishing in the Aberdare National Park and at Mount Kenya. You can also take a helicopter flight or go horse riding and discover the terrain. The Game Reserve is home to large numbers of black and white rhinoceros, giving a fantastic opportunity to see these incredible animals.
Next you will fly to the Masai Mara – Kenya’s world-famous safari destination – for an unforgettable bush experience. Explore the reserve on our spectacular morning or evening game drives, allowing you to see the animals when they are most active. You can also head out into the remote corners of the Masai Mara to find the wildlife and enjoy a bush lunch en-route.
Back at Sala’s Camp, you can take part in activities, take local walks along the river or relax and enjoy the view from the hammock outside your tent before sun-downers.
From Sala’s Camp, you will fly to Ukunda in Diani Mombasa and stay for 3 nights at a Kinondo Kwetu beach resort. This is a wonderful opportunity to unwind. Relax in the sun and swim in the Indian Ocean.
Kinondo Kwetu also offers an impressive array of watersports including kite surfing, deep-sea fishing and scuba diving, as well as land-based activities like game drives, horse-riding and yoga. There are also massage and beauty treatments on offer, as well as a sauna, two swimming pools, tennis and an exercise area.
On the last day after breakfast we will fly you to Jomo Kenyatta’s International Airport for your return flight home. Depending on the time your international flight departs Nairobi, you may need to book a day room or excursions within Nairobi.

Day 1: Nairobi Arrival – Transfer to the Giraffe Manor Boutique Hotel
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport we will transfer you to the Giraffe Manor, a beautiful English-style country house with one big difference: its permanent residents are a journey of endangered Rothschild’s giraffes!
You find the friendly giraffes in the most unsuspecting places, like the breakfast table or your room window, vying for your attention and checking out what’s on your plate. Relax on the verandah where you can hand feed these friendly long-necked beauties.
Activities include forest walks to see the variety of bird species and rare animals found here, visits to the AFEW Giraffe Centre, take a trip to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust where you can meet orphaned elephant and rhinoceros and the Karen Blixen Museum.

Day 2 & 3: Nairobi – Fly to Westgate Community Conservancy, Samburu
After breakfast at the Giraffe Manor, we will transfer you to Wilson Airport for your 1 hour 20 minutes flight to Samburu. You’ll be met on arrival and taken to Sasaab Camp in time for a late lunch.
Lying on the edge of northern Kenya’s arid savannahs, the Samburu National Reserve is a destination that will appeal as much to the safari first-timer as it will to the veteran.
The most rewarding of the three national reserves that cluster around the life-giving Ewaso Ngiro River (the other two are Shaba and Buffalo Springs), Samburu’s game viewing is famously first-class and there are adventure activities and fascinating cultural interactions too.
The game viewing is also unique as you search for the Samburu Special Five – Grevy’s zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Gerenuk and Beisa oryx.

Day 4 & 5: Samburu – Fly to Solio Game Reserve
After breakfast go to Sasaab’s airstrip to take a short 20 minutes private charter flight to Solio Game Reserve. Solio Lodge is an intimate camp with only six thatched chalets.
It is located in one of the first private rhino conservancies ever declared in Kenya, which is also home to one of the most successful breeding projects for these highly endangered and vulnerable animals.
There is plenty to do at Solio Lodge including trout fishing in the Aberdare National Park and at Mount Kenya. You can also take a helicopter flight or go horse riding and discover the terrain.
Both day and night game drives are offered to provide you with ample sightings of wildlife, including zebra, buffalo, giraffe and a variety of antelope. Other activities include guided nature walks, horse riding and helicopter flights.

Day 6, 7 & 8: Solio Game Reserve –Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the nearby Nanyuki Airstrip where you will take a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Then journey by 4×4 to Sala’s Camp with a game drive en-route.
Located next to the Sand River and set in a shady forest, Sala’s Camp offers tented safari accommodation in the heart of the northern corridor in Kenya’s Masai Mara and is in an area famous for its excellent wildlife sightings. It is among the first camps to witness the Wildebeest Migration as it passes from the Serengeti into the Mara.
You’ll explore the famous Masai Mara National Reserve on hot-air balloon safaris or on morning and evening 4X4 game drives allowing you to see the animals when they are most active. You can also head out into the remote corners of the Masai Mara to find the wildlife and enjoy a bush lunch en-route.

Day 9, 10 & 11: Masai Mara – Fly to Diani Beach Mombasa
From Sala’s Camp in Masai Mara, you will be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Ukunda, Diani via Wilson Airport with a packed lunch from the camp. On arrival, you’ll be met by a Kinondo Kwetu driver, who will take you on a 10 minutes’ drive to Kinondo Kwetu Beach Resort to start your beach holiday in Kenya.
A peaceful beach resort, Kinondo Kwetu is situated on the beautiful Kenyan coast, just one hour from Mombasa and a short drive from Diani Beach. This intimate lodge offers beach luxury in a relaxed and laidback atmosphere. Kindo Kwetu is the only hotel on the private Galu Beach and is surrounded by lush coastal forest.
Kinondo Kwetu is the ideal beach holiday location where you can spend lazy days on the beach and swimming in the warm waters.
