Day 1: Nairobi Fly to Masai Mara Game Reserve

0730: This morning after breakfast at your hotel/ residence in Nairobi we transfer to Wilson Airport for our scheduled flight to Masai Mara National Reserve.

1000 Hours: Fly to Mara Serena Airstrip located inside Masai Mara National Reserve.

1100 Hours: Upon landing, you will be met by our professional safari driver guide and proceed for a morning game drive looking out for elephants, buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffes, zebra, and wildebeest among other African animals.

There is also a host of birds, both large and small, to see if you keep your eyes open and stop at every sighting.

1230 Hours: We arrive at Mara Serena Safari Lodge for lunch. Later we settle in to relax and explore Mara Serena Safari Lodge. The lodge has a gym with a steam room, sauna, male and female changing/ shower rooms, juice bar, and candle-lit relaxation area.

There is also a safari Spa that offers a wide range of massages, body brushes or scrubs, facials, manicures, pedicures, reflexology, aromatherapy, and specially tailored holistic spa indulgences.

1500 Hours: We enjoy a cup of tea/ coffee or hot chocolate with some homemade biscuits/ cake as we get ready for the afternoon game drive.

1530 Hours: Embark on the afternoon game drive. Game viewing in the Masai Mara is excellent all year round thanks to the diverse population of resident games, including the Big 5 – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino – plus popular species like zebra, giraffe, hyena, eland, and gazelle.

1830 Hours: Return to Mara Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Fly to Nairobi

0630 Hours: Enjoy a morning safari game drive followed by bush breakfast by the banks of the Mara River or a hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara plains followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. You could also opt to visit a Masai tribal village and interact with them as they entertain you with songs and dance.

0900 Hours: Enjoy a full English breakfast at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

1000 Hours: We transfer you back to Mara Serena airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi.

1100 Hours: Our flight departs for Nairobi.

1215 Hours: Approximate arrival time in Nairobi Wilson Airport. Transfer you to your hotel/ residence.
