2 Days 1 Night Kisumu Masai Mara Road Safari is a short overnight wildlife safari holiday from Kisumu city to Masai Mara, ending in Kisumu or Nairobi. Offering superb scenery, unmatched safari activities, and diverse wildlife, Masai Mara National Reserve is considered Kenya’s best park and one of Africa’s highest wildlife density regions for predators.

Animals include lions, cheetahs, leopards, crocodiles, hyenas, foxes, and other stealthy, mighty hunters. There are more than 450 species of birds. Activities include wildlife safari drives, balloon safaris, escorted nature walks, visits to a Masai village, bush breakfasts, bush lunches, bush dinners, and sundowners.

You will travel in a private safari vehicle in the company of an experienced tour driver/ guide and spend the night at a budget-tented camp or in a luxury lodge of your choice.

Day 1: Kisumu City – Drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve

0700 Hours: We depart Kisumu city, after breakfast at our hotel/ residence to the Masai Mara Game Reserve driving through the towns of Kericho, Sotik, Mulot, and into Masai Mara.

1300 Hours: Arrive for lunch at your lodge/ camp.

1530 Hours: Late in the afternoon enjoy a game drive.  Masai Mara Game Reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. The Mara is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino.

Other animals include Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland, and thousands of simple game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Drive to Nairobi or Kisumu

0630 Hours: Enjoy an early morning game drive. The Mara is one of the richest wildlife spectacular scenery for the annual migration.  The Masai Mara wildebeest migration is considered to be one of the wonders of the world, especially as they cross the Mara River.

0900 Hours: Breakfast is served at the camp/ lodge then depart by road to Kisumu or Nairobi with game viewing en-route.

1700 Hours: Arrive in Kisumu or Nairobi
