Typically, a 2-day 1-night fly-in Tanzania safari package will include flights via a small Cessna or Caravan aircraft from Arusha, Kilimanjaro, or Dar-es-salaam airport by air to your safari (bush or beach) destination. The safari by flight is really a fantastic way to see the wilderness and you’ll get some awesome views from the air on the way.
The journey across beautiful landscapes on a tiny plane is a unique experience in itself sometimes you will land on just a dirt airstrip in the middle of the wild, which adds another edge to the spirit of adventure.
Here, you’ll be met by a driver guide from your camp or lodge for a transfer short to the accommodation for check-in before getting set out for a game drive and the fun activities. At the end of the trip, you’ll transfer back to an international airport or regional airport by light aircraft, or choose to travel onwards to another camp on your itinerary, anywhere in Tanzania!

2 Days 1 Night Ngorongoro Crater Tanzania Luxury Flying Safari
This is a convenient 2-day luxury fly-in safari to the Ngorongoro Crater located in Tanzania Northern Circuit and is great for travelers who are short on time. You will see many of the classic animals of East Africa including the big five. The tour departs after breakfast, where you are transferred to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. Upon arrival at Lake Manyara Airstrip, you are met by our safari driver guide and transferred by road to your choice of accommodation on the crater. The drive takes 2 hours to the lodge/ camp. After lunch, you depart for a game drive on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro crater is home to large herds of zebra and wildebeest, buffalo, Lion, Spotted hyenas Leopards, jackal, bat-eared foxes, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, and topi. Day 2 of the tour begins with breakfast followed by a transfer to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha Airport. The tour includes 3 meals daily, game drives, return flights from Arusha & accommodation, your choice of lodge/ camp in Ngorongoro Crater, return road transfers from Lake Manyara airstrip to Ngorongoro Crater and back to Lake Manyara airstrip.
2 Days 1 Night Ruaha National Park Tanzania Luxury Flying Safari
This short and sweet 2-day Fly-in Safari takes you on an unusual journey south to Ruaha National Park, offering a wildlife experience away from the crowds. A convenient and time-saving option, our air safari maximizes your time on the ground and allowing you access the remote Ruaha National Park. The tour could begin from Dar-es-salaam or Zanzibar and you will fly in a small aircraft enjoying scenic views to Ruaha National Park, located 600 kilometers to the west of Dar-es-salaam. The next few days are set aside for exploring the spectacular landscapes of Ruaha in search of wildlife and birds. Due to its isolated location, Ruaha is a less-explored and often overlooked gem with a truly wild and undisturbed feeling. Ruaha National Park is one of Tanzania’s second-largest national parks and a predator hotspot, hosting one of the world’s largest lion populations and one of the few sizeable populations of cheetahs in East Africa. The tour begins with a transfer from your hotel to Julius Nyerere International Airport. Take a short 1-hour flight from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere, and on arrival, you’ll be met by your driver-guide to begin your safari. Explore Nyerere and see its amazing wildlife and later overnight at a camp or lodge in the park. The following morning, enjoy a game drive before breakfast and later fly back to Dar es Salaam (flying time approx 1 hour). This 2-Day Saadani National Park Flying Safari From Zanzibar is perfect for guests and is a wonderful itinerary that combines bush and beach experiences. Saadani National Park is just a 45 minutes flight from Dar es Salaam and 15 minutes flight from Zanzibar to the Saadani airstrip. The tour begins with a transfer to the airport for your flight to Saadani National Park. Upon arrival meet and greet and transfer to Wami River for a boat trip. The river cruise offers a great chance to see many wild animals along the river drinking water not forgetting giant crocodiles and many birds species. The afternoon is spent on a game drive where one might see Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Waterbuck, Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, etc. Day 2 of the tour begins with breakfast followed by a game drive. Giraffes and wildebeest can be spotted and elephants have been seen playing on the beach. After lunch you have an opportunity to enjoy a guided bird walk, beach walk to Mkwaje Village or watch turtle hatching nearby (if the time is right). The flying time to the Serengeti from Arusha is 1 Hour 30 Minutes, Dar es Salaam is 2 Hours, Lake Manyara 1 Hour, and Zanzibar 1Hour 40 Minutes. Serengeti National Park is famous for its huge concentrations of wildlife, especially the big cats. Serengeti National Park covers an area of 14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles and is located 335 km (208 Miles) from Arusha, stretching north to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve and borders Lake Victoria to the west. A huge park – it is broadly divided into four distinct areas – the central Seronera Valley, the Western Corridor, the Northern Lobo and Kogatende areas, and finally the Southern Plains. The Serengeti’s main attraction is the Great Migration, consisting of up to 2 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras, and 350,000 Thompson, impala, and grant’s gazelles. The predator viewing here is exceptional with approximately 3-4,000 lions and huge numbers of cheetah, leopard,s, and hyena. Other animals found in the park include topi, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, elephant, caracal, serval, aardvark, Giraffes, jackal, mongoose, crocodile, aardwolf, baboons, monkeys, and over 500 species of bird.
