This 2 day Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari is a short wildlife holiday to Queen Elizabeth National Park located in the southwest of Uganda for a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel and game viewing in Uganda’s top national park. The park is one of the outstanding treasures of Uganda and was named after Queen Elizabeth II visit in 1954. Distance & Time Estimates: 435 kilometers southwest of Kampala (6-hour drive). The safari departs from Kampala or Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we enjoy a two-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, getting up close to hippos, buffalos, and other wildlife. The boat trip offers excellent bird-watching opportunities, as well as the chance to see elephants, warthogs, and Kob antelopes. Our 2 Days Sipi Falls tour is a short overnight trip to one of the most sought waterfalls in Uganda that are situated close to Mount Elgon National Park in Eastern Uganda. Sipi falls are found in the Kapichorwa district in Uganda and are a great destination for hiking & trekking. The tour begins from Kampala and the drive takes you through the towns of Jinja and Mbale and on to Sipi Falls (a 6-hour journey). You spend the afternoon visiting a coffee plantation to learn all the stages of coffee production right from planting, weeding, pruning, harvesting, drying, roasting, grinding, and packing. You will be allowed to taste the freshly prepared coffee tea at the farm. The following day you hike Sipi Falls beginning from the top, starting with the tallest fall which is 100 meters, and then descend to the main fall, ascend again on the second fall which is 85 meters, then descend till you reach the shortest fall which is 75 meters. The total hike will take you around 4-5 hours. During the hiking, you will be able to view the beautiful sceneries of Mount Elgon, Later you have lunch before your return trip back to Kampala.

This is a 2 day trip to Ngamba Island to visit the chimpanzee sanctuary, reached by motorized canoe or speed boat. Surrounded by the peaceful waters of Lake Victoria, Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary is home to 50 orphaned chimpanzees rescued from across East Africa. The tour begins from Kampala with a transfer to the waterfront club jetty located on Lake Victoria to catch a boat to Ngamba Island located 23 km from Entebbe town. Along the way, we will cross The Ugandan Equator on Lake Victoria where the captain will make a stop for pictures and swimming (optional). Once at Ngamba Island Sanctuary, we view the chimpanzees feeding at a very close range (watch the chimpanzee behaviors as they eat, play, and relax). We also take a nature walk where we can see birds and other wildlife and an evening boat ride. On day two, we visit with the chimps and go hiking on Koome Island to see plants, tree species, and over 120 bird species. This 2-day safari takes you to the best place for chimpanzee trekking in Uganda – Kibale National Park located in western Uganda. Kibale National Park (formerly Kibale Forest National Park) is located some 348km (5 hours’ drive) from Kampala and about 26km southeast of the beautiful Fort Portal town – one of Uganda’s most lovely places to explore. Kibale is home to 13 species of primates including chimpanzees living within its 795km2 land cover with the most beautiful and most diversified tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. Our 2 Day Uganda Chimpanzee Trekking Safari departs from Kampala stopping for lunch en route. Later we enjoy a scenic walk in the park and also visit a local village for a cultural experience. On this 2 day Uganda short safari, you will explore Lake Mburo National Park, the closest National Park to Kampala as well as the smallest savannah national park in Uganda. The Park is home to several wild animals including zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, and topi. The bird population is also impressive including the rare Shoebill stork. This short safari begins from Kampala and journeys southwest. Along the way, we visit local markets including a drum market, and also stop at the Equator we stop to take photos. In the afternoon we take a boat ride in Lake Mburo National Park looking for hippos, crocodiles, and other animals that come to drink in the lake. Over 300 species of birds have been recorded within Lake Mburo and it is probably the best place in Uganda for acacia-associated birds. Starting and ending in Kampala Uganda, this short 2-day safari is ideal for travelers with a limited time and offers an active adventure holiday for guests looking for fun and interesting places to visit not too far from Kampala – Uganda. The tour first visits the Ssezibwa Falls – an important cultural site in the Buganda Kingdom believed to be of spiritual significance to the local people. Next, we drive into the Mabira Forest, a large tropical forest (semi-deciduous forest) famous for activities such as ziplining, bird watching, Mangabey monkey trekking, Nature walks, and cycling. Thereafter we will visit Jinja town which is well endowed with historical resources which include the Source of the Nile, the Bujagali Falls, and old Styled Indian buildings among others. On day two we enjoy a full day of white water rafting on the Nile River. Make your choice between grade 3 or grade 5 rapids and begin your adventure. The tour begins from Uganda’s capital city Kampala or Entebbe by road (about 80 km) traveling through the Eastern part of Uganda past Mukono town to Jinja. Along the way, we make a brief stop at the Sezibwa Falls – a Buganda Cultural Heritage Site that is located near Lugazi town. After an hour’s tour at the Sezibwa Falls, we proceed to the Mabira Central Forest Reserve. There are over 312 species of trees and shrubs, 316 bird species, 219 butterflies, 97 months, and 35 species of mammals including primates such as Red-tailed Monkeys and Grey-cheeked Mangabeys. We will set out on a 2-hour hike into the forest, walking on neat trails that provide good views into the forest undergrowth as well as the canopy.
