Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha (Boat & Walking)
0700 – 1000 Hours: Departure from Nairobi and drive to Naivasha
1000 Hours – 1230 Hours: Check-in at accommodation and lunch
1430 Hours – 1730 Hours: Boat ride to Crescent Island for a walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and waterbucks
Overnight: Naivasha (Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar)
Day 2: Naivasha – Lake Bogoria – Lake Baringo (Hot Springs & Birds)
0700 Hours – 1000 Hours: Early breakfast and travel north to Lake Bogoria National Reserve
1000 Hours – 1300 Hours: Explore Bogoria: View hot springs/geysers and massive flamingo flocks (depending on water levels)
1300 Hours – 1400 Hours: Lunch in Bogoria or nearby
1400 Hours – 1600 Hours: Drive to Lake Baringo
1600 Hours – 1800 Hours: Boat ride on Baringo to spot hippos, crocodiles, and specialized bird species
Overnight: Baringo (Lake Baringo Club or similar)
Day 3: Lake Baringo – Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi
0700 Hours – 1000 Hours: Breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park

This 3 Day Safari to Lake Nakuru, Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria, and Lake Naivasha begins and ends in Nairobi. The tour offers our guests an exceptional wildlife-viewing holiday.
On this safari, you will enjoy the scenic Rift Valley, birdwatching, and activities such as walking among wildlife, boat rides, cultural visits to local villages, and cycling in Hell’s Gate National Park.
Our 3-day road safari tour begins with a visit to Lake Nakuru National Park – renowned as a bird sanctuary with over 400 bird species, including huge flocks of flamingoes and many other water birds.
Lake Nakuru is home to many animals, including hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, impalas, buffalo, Rothschild giraffes, elands, and both the endangered black and white rhinos.
Next, we visit Lake Bogoria and Lake Baringo. Lake Bogoria is an alkaline lake with geysers (hot springs), large flocks of flamingos, and wildlife such as greater kudu, zebras, and buffalo.
Lake Baringo is a freshwater lake that offers boat ride opportunities where one can see fish, birds, hippos, and crocodiles. Optional cultural visits to the Njemps people who live on the island are also available.
Before the end of the tour, we visit Lake Naivasha for a boat ride, walk among wildlife on Crescent Island, and have opportunities to ride and trek in Hell’s Gate National Park
3 Day Safari Lake Nakuru Lake Baringo Lake Bogoria Naivasha Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park (160 km, 3 Hour Drive)
0730 Hours: Today, we travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, proceed on a game drive. There are also a number of Rothschild’s giraffes. Among the predators are lions and leopards, the latter of which is seen much more frequently in recent times.
The Park also has large pythons that inhabit the dense woodlands and can often be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees.
1300 Hours: Lunch, then relax as you enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Nakuru National Park.
1500 Hours: An exciting ‘Spice’ game run is planned for the afternoon. The game in this Park is plentiful, and the magnificent bird-watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant.
The Park is home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores into a magnificent pink stretch.
The bird life here is world-renowned, with over 400 species, including White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets, and Marabou Storks.
It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and the rare Rothschild Giraffe.
1830 Hours: Return to the lodge/ camp for overnight

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Drive to Lake Bogoria (125 km from Nakuru) – Lake Baringo (50 km from Lake Bogoria)
0730 Hours: We have an early breakfast at the lodge and then set out for our second leg of the safari, which takes us to Lake Bogoria, located inside Lake Bogoria National Reserve.
1000 Hours: We explore and arrive at Lake Bogoria and walk around this spectacular lake in the heart of an arid landscape.
The soda lake attracts massive flocks of flamingos and is often carpeted in pink due to their high concentration.
The western shore has hot springs, spouting geysers, and bubbling geothermal pools. Freshwater springs at the lake edge attract an abundance of birds and wildlife.
1200 Hours: We depart Lake Bogoria and drive 50 km to Lake Baringo.
1300 Hours: We arrive at Lake Baringo and proceed to lunch at our lodge/camp.
1400 Hours: We explore Lake Baringo, famous as a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 450 species recorded. Lake Baringo is home to a large population of crocodiles and hippos.
1800 Hours: Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Baringo – Drive to Lake Naivasha (178 km from Lake Baringo)
0800 Hours: Depart Lake Baringo after breakfast and drive past Marigat town to Nakuru. We continue by road to Lake Naivasha.
The driving time from Baringo to Nakuru is approximately 2.5 hours, and from Nakuru to Lake Naivasha is about an hour.
1200 Hours: We arrive in time for lunch at one of the hotels by the shores of Lake Naivasha.
1400 Hours: Visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary – a peninsula or island on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. A short boat trip from the mainland out into Lake Naivasha gives you access to the unique Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary.
A wide variety of wildlife, bird life, and flora live quite freely out there, and as there are no predators to be found, they are quite happy as well. There is a lot of easy-to-see game, e.g., giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, and impalas.
It is also a haven for birds, with over 200 species recorded. The lake has many hippos, which you can easily spot on the island. Among the residents are fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters, black crakes, and a variety of herons. Hippos also live in the lake.
1600 Hours: Later, take a leisurely drive back to Nairobi
1800 Hours: We arrive back in Nairobi and transfer you to your hotel/ residence.
