This ranch in Kenya Bush becomes yours providing you with all the comfort of home. The home staff is at your disposal so you can simply enjoy the experience. Ol Jogi Conservancy is home to roughly 7000 large mammals including the Big 5, the world’s largest population of endangered Grevy’s zebra, and significant numbers of other endangered animals.
The core focus of the conservancy is wildlife conservation – there are a veterinary clinic, wildlife sanctuary, and wildlife rehabilitation center.
Our 4-day Ol Jogi fly-in safari from Nairobi starts with a transfer from your Nairobi hotel/ residence to Wilson Airport Nairobi. From here you will fly by light aircraft to Nanyuki Airstrip to connect with a road transfer to Ol Jogi. Road transfer from Nanyuki Airstrip, approximately 90 minutes.
The types of aircraft vary from smaller Cessnas to Caravans. The flying time from Nairobi to Nanyuki Airstrip takes approximately 1.5 hours. Ol Jogi Ranch House is the only safari property at the Conservancy and is booked exclusively for groups of between 4 and 25 guests who have this vast wilderness to themselves to explore.
Our representative will meet you at the Nanyuki Airstrip and transfer you (with a 4×4 safari vehicle) to the ranch house where you will enjoy Ol Jogi Ranch conservancy activities. These include game drives, nature walks, horse riding, walking with baboons, bird walking along the Ewaso Nyiro River, and visits to Curio shops in Nanyuki, etc.
At the end of your 3-night stay, you will return by light aircraft to Wilson Airport. Breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi followed by a transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flights to Nanyuki departing at 0800 Hours. Upon arrival transfer to Ol Jogi Private Wildlife Conservancy – Laikipia Northern Kenya. The road transfer from Nanyuki Airstrip takes approximately 90 minutes.
Enjoy your first lunch and make plans for the rest of the day. After recovering from your journey, go out on a first game drive to marvel at the area’s wildlife and views. Finish the afternoon watching the sunset over Laikipia, with a gin and tonic or glass of champagne in hand before a sumptuous supper.

Day 2 & 3: Ol Jogi Private Wildlife Conservancy
The next 2 full days will be spent at leisure or partake in some of the conservancy’s activities. These include game drives, nature walks, horse riding, camel riding, river rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking, walking with baboons, bird walking along the Ewaso Nyiro River, a visit to Tara Cultural center, off-road experiences in an all-terrain vehicle, visit the Wildlife Rescue Center, visit Curio shops in Nanyuki lunches and dinner in the bush.
House activities include an outdoor swimming pool, steam room, massage, Jacuzzi, sauna, fitness Centre and Yoga room, tennis court, table tennis, billiards table, board games, library, TV room with Satellite TV, and DVDs and wildlife viewing from a secret tunnel.
