4 Days 3 Nights Mt Elgon Hike Sasa/ Sipi Trail (Begins at Budadiri & ends at Kapkwai Park gate - Uganda
This is a short and rewarding 3-day hiking trek up Mount Elgon in Uganda. Hike to the summit of Mount Elgon at 4321 metres, and be rewarded with fantastic views above the plains of Eastern Uganda from Wagagai Peak, Mt Elgon’s highest peak. The trip uses the Sasa River trail that follows the Northern Route on the western flank of the mountain which is the shortest but steepest for climbing Mt Elgon from Uganda. The hiking trip starts at Budadiri located within Mount Elgon National Park, at the foothills of Mount Elgon, and ends at Kapkwai Park gate. On the first day, you’ll be driven 6km from Budadiri (1250 metres) to the trailhead at Bumasola (1711 metres). From here you hike up to stop for the night at Mude Camp. Day two, we summit to the top and enjoy panoramic views of the caldera, and hills and valleys stretching into the distance on all sides. On day three, we ascend into the Caldera and either finish at Kajere Camp or Tutum Cave Camp – Tutum cave being further by around a further 3 hours of hiking. On day four, we descend back to the Forest Exploration Centre at Kapkwai.

This 4 day Uganda safari package puts together two wonderful Uganda destinations; Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda. Your adventure begins from Kampala traveling southwest to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the evening we embark on a two-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, getting up close to hippos, buffalos, elephants, warthogs, crocodiles, and plenty of antelope species. Day two begins with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth Park, then we travel south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi National Park is home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas, along with a rich diversity of wild animals, insects, and plants. Inhabitants include various other primate species, such as the blue and red-tailed monkeys. On day three we set off on the once-in-a-lifetime experience of trekking mountain gorillas in the wild. This gorilla walk can take up to six hours. Once we find the African Mountain Gorillas we spend some time watching them feed and interact with each other. The afternoon is spent exploring a local community to gain insight into the ways of the Ugandan people living near Bwindi Park. On day four, we return to Kampala, visiting Igongo Cultural Village en route.

This 4 day Uganda Safari holiday combines Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking with a safari in Lake Mburo, the smallest of Uganda’s savanna National Parks located close to both Kampala and Entebbe. On day one we depart from Kampala or Entebbe and drive to Lake Mburo National Park. In the afternoon we take a boat trip to Lake Mburo, looking for crocodiles, hippos, etc and water birds such as pelicans, herons, fish eagles, and the rare Shoebill stork. During your safari game drive in Lake Mburo expect to see zebra, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, eland, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes. Day two begins with a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park followed by a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On day three you’ll head into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest on a guided Mountain Gorilla Trekking Tour. The entire experience may take anything from 2 to 8 hours. Begining from Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, we drive southwest to Mbarara where we have lunch at a motel, and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On day two we go for the gorilla trek. We spend some time with the endangered African mountain gorillas. Our intimate gorilla encounter gives you the chance to watch the gorillas go about their daily activities. We observe the mountain gorillas feeding, dozing off, and interacting with each other on the forest floor – an extraordinary wildlife experience. On day one we drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park, 5 hours from Kampala via Masindi. Once inside the park, we enjoy a game drive en route to the top of the falls. We have great chances of seeing elephants, giraffes, hippo, leopards, warthogs, lions, giraffes aardvark, chimpanzees, pangolin, civets, buffalo, hyena, crocodile, oribi, patas monkey, Uganda Kob, and a wide variety of birdlife. On day two, we enjoy a 4-hour game drive around the Buligi game tracks, which stretch between the Victoria and Albert Niles, and down to the Nile-Lake Albert Delta. Spend 4 glorious days on safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s premier game viewing destination, located 5 to 6 hours by road (376 km/ 234 miles) southwest of Kampala. Beginning and ending in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, you travel west to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the evening we embark on a game drive in the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park that support a rich variety of wild animals including four of the Big Five – Buffaloes, Elephants, Leopards, and Lions. On day two, we enjoy morning and afternoon game drives where you may be able to see a lot of animals such as Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Leopards, Monkeys such as the black and white colobus, red-tailed and blue monkeys. On day three, we go to Kyambura (Chambura) Gorge for Chimpanzee Tracking and later visit the Ishasha sector well known for the tree-climbing Lions which can be spotted from the far in the fig trees. 4 Days 3 Nights Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (Driving) From Kampala, Uganda
This classic 4-day Uganda safari is a gorilla safari adventure taking you gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. The Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is located in the far southwestern part of Uganda, about 540 km from Kampala (Uganda’s Capital City) bordering on Rwanda (Volcanoes National Park)and the DRC (Virunga National Park). The park’s wildlife includes mountain gorillas, endangered golden monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, elephants, bushbucks, and buffalos. There are over 115 bird species that have been recorded here, including several endemic to the Albertine Rift. Beginning and ending in Kampala, Uganda the safari travels southwest to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Mgahinga National Park is a full day’s drive from Kampala to Kisoro and a further 30 minutes to the Park entrance. On day two of tracking wake up early and go in search of the mountain gorillas. It takes about 3 or 5 hours as given the small size of the park. Day three offers you a chance to go for golden monkey tracking alongside other primates or hiking on any of the volcanic peaks of your choice. On day four, we make our way back to Kampala city, in Uganda, bringing our Gorilla tracking trip to a close.

Experience some of Uganda’s finest wilderness and wildlife highlights on this 4 day Safari to remote, and beautiful Kidepo Valley National Park located in the rugged, semi-arid valleys of Karamoja province on the far northern border of Uganda and Sudan. Starting and ending in Kampala, the tour travels to Kidepo Valley National Park in the Karamoja region in northeast Uganda. Kidepo Valley Park is about a 10 hours drive (571 km) from Kampala through Karuma, Gulu, Kitgum, and to Kidepo Valley National Park. Over 77 species of mammal and 475 species of bird call Kidepo Valley National Park their home. On day two we enjoy a game drive and also visit the Kanangorok hot springs and also visit the Karamajong, a proud people living in their traditional ways as semi-nomadic herders in the remote Karamajong region of Uganda. On day three we take a nature walk guided by an armed ranger and later enjoy a game drive where you may see striped hyenas, zebra, leopard, lion, herds of up 1,000 buffalo, cheetah, caracal, aardwolf, greater and lesser kudu, mountain reedbuck, and Guenther’s dik-dik. On day four after breakfast, we travel back to Kampala having lunch en-route on the way.

After lunch, we take a laid-back exclusive 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward, spotting buffaloes, elephants, hippos, birds, and crocodiles from the boat.
