Beginning and ending in Kampala, the tour begins with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which harbors Uganda’s wild endangered rhinos. It is situated in Nakasongola District, near Nakitoma Village. Apart from rhinos, Ziwa is also home to a number of bird species, reptiles, and 40 mammal species including antelopes, crocodiles, hippos, monkeys among others.

Thereafter we proceed by road to Murchison Falls National Park – home to the mighty Murchison Fall whose banks provide an opportunity to see the amazing hippos, crocodiles, water birds along the river banks enabling an excellent birding safari.

Murchison Falls National Park is one of Uganda’s oldest conservation areas and the largest game park in Uganda, covering 3,893 km². The national park consists mostly of untamed African Savannah bushveld and lies in the northern Albertine Rift Valley, where the Bunyoro escarpment meets the vast plains of Acholiland.

Next, you proceed to Kibale Forest  National Park – the primate’s capital of the world that harbors the greatest variety and concentration of primates not found anywhere else in the world. Kibale National Park covers 795 km² and consists mostly of a vast tract of equatorial rainforest.

Kibale is home to numerous forest wildlife species. Primate species here include rare I’Hoest’s monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and Uganda red colobus monkeys, red-tailed and blue monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and bushbabies.

It offers some exceptional opportunities for Chimpanzee trekking and bird watching which makes the forest the number one for primate-watching safaris in Uganda.

Finally, you will travel to number one of Uganda’s tourist destinations – Queen Elizabeth National Park, scenically located on the rift valley floor between Lake Edward and Lake George flanked by towering mountains in the distance.

The game park incorporates scenic hills and lakes and consists mostly of euphorbia tree-studded savannahs or grasslands. The varied habitats within Queen Elizabeth National Park host 95 mammals and 612 bird species.

The park is home to the famous tree-climbing lions and other wildlife such as the Uganda kob, various antelope species, topi, hyena, crocodile, waterbuck, elephant, baboon, hippo, buffaloe, and 10 primate species including chimpanzee and monkey.

Over 500 species of birds have been recorded like; the black bee-eater, 11 types of kingfisher, and several species of falcons, eagles and the raptors, and many more.
