6 Days 5 Nights Kenya Fly-in Safari Meru Masai Mara

6 Days 5 Nights Kenya Fly-in Safari Meru Masai Mara is a luxury flying safari holiday offering two very different safari experiences, Meru in Kenya’s northern region, and the famous Masai Mara in the south.

Our fly-in safari is the most convenient way of experiencing a country as immense as Kenya in a short space of time. Flying in a light aircraft from reserve to reserve – rather than being driven – will allow you to see the best of Meru and the Masai Mara in less than a week.

You will also have a more relaxed timetable and will be able to spend more time at each of the breathtaking camps and lodges along the way. Your starting and ending point is Kenya’s capital Nairobi. Our 6 Days 5 Nights Kenya Fly-in Safari Meru Masai Mara begins with a domestic light aircraft flight to Meru National Park.

Meru is recognized as having more diversity of animal species than any other park in East Africa. The park offers a thriving rhino sanctuary and is famous for large elephant herds, hippos, lions, reticulated giraffes and lesser Kudu.

During your stay, you will enjoy various activities such as game drives, guided walks, nature trails, fishing, bush meals, swimming pool, visits to a cultural village, mountain bike riding, hiking, massage & treatments.

After 2 nights in Meru National Park, you finally fly to the big one: the Masai Mara is one of the most famous parks in the world and is renowned for its role in the annual wildebeest migration from about August every year.

It offers the most dramatic game viewing and the widest range of safari experiences. Here we enjoy hot air balloon flights, action-packed game drives, cultural interactions and guided nature walks in private conservancies – no wonder it’s one of the world’s greatest travel destinations.

Game viewing includes elephants, hippos, lions, leopards and cheetahs. There are also some rare antelope, including the Lesser Kudu, duiker and dik-dik. Meru National Park also has some of Kenya’s largest herds of buffalo, along with hartebeests, giraffes and gazelles.

Over 300 species of birds have been recorded in Meru National Park, including ostriches, hornbills, secretary birds, eagles and other smaller birds. There is much to do at the camp. The team can arrange both day and evening game drives in fully equipped custom-designed Lanndovers/ Land cruisers.

You can take short, guided walks, and enjoy traditional bush breakfasts and sundowners and fishing is also a very popular activity.
