All “fly-in” wildlife safaris and beach holidays begin in Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Dar-es-salaam or Zanzibar airports where you fly to luxury game lodges and hotels located in Tanzania safari destinations and beaches.
Tanzania has over 16 national parks, game reserves and wildlife conservancies where visitors can see a huge variety of wild animals roaming free in their natural habitat.
Some of the best-known wildlife areas offering opportunities to see the biggest variety of animal species are Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Katavi, Selous, Ruaha, Mikumi, Gombe Stream, Mahale Mountains and Rubondo Island.
Our 7 Days Tanzania Fly-in Safaris include accommodations in lodges (similar to hotels), intimate eco-camps and boutique camps/ lodges with luxurious tents, some with plunge pools and spas.
These camps and lodges offer an all-inclusive safari package that include accommodation, all meals, free drinks (unless indicated that these are not included) arrival and departure transfers between the local airstrip and the camps, all game drives or fun activities in the destination and all the applicable Conservancy fees or Park fees.
These tours also include a wide range of activities such as morning and late afternoon-into-evening game drives led by professional guides, guided nature and bird-viewing walks, boat cruise safaris, local community visits, fishing trips, night game drives etc.
Transport between camps is by air to minimize the time spent traveling and maximize the time spent on safari. As well as being a safer way to travel, flying means you do not waste half a day driving from one park to another and so you have more time for game-viewing.
When you fly in to the parks you will be met at the airstrip by a vehicle from the camp where you are staying and you will go on game drives in the camp’s 4×4 safari vehicle with a qualified and experienced driver-guide who knows the area far better than any visiting drivers and is familiar with the latest wildlife movements.

7 Days 6 Nights Tanzania Fly-in Safari Selous Game Reserve & Ruaha National Park
This wonderful 7-day safari visits two of Tanzania's largest and most untouched reserves as you stay in genuinely fantastic yet simple safari camps – Lake Manze Tented Camp in the Selous Game Reserve & Mdonya Old River Camp in Ruaha National Park. Travel from Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) and between the camps is by light aircraft in order to reduce traveling time and maximize time at the camps. The itinerary includes high-quality game drives in 4x4 vehicles (which usually take 4 guests) in these wildlife filled areas and guests can also enjoy other activities such as sunrise walking safaris escorted with an armed guide, delicious picnic bush breakfast or lunch during your game drive as you spot lions and wild dogs, fishing trip on Lake Manze, and get close and personal with hippos and crocodiles and thousands of exotic birds on a sunset boat safari and bird walks.
