8 Days 7 Nights Kenya Fly-in Safari Tsavo West Masai Mara

Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Tsavo National Park

After breakfast at your city hotel, you will be transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport to catch a flight to Finch Hattons airstrip. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by Finch Hattons team and transfer to camp with a game drive en-route. Settle in to your luxury tented suite.

3 course lunch is served on the outdoor terrace overlooking the natural fresh water springs. Afterwards relax by the infinity pool, explore our research center or gaze out over the springs from your private deck.

Afternoon tea served on the outdoor terrace followed by an afternoon drive in the Tsavo West National Park where you can marvel at the geographical wonders of the park spot the famous red elephants and of-course, keep a keen look out for the infamous man-eaters of the Tsavo!

Sundowner with the backdrop of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro and later enjoy an exquisite 6-course dinner served at the choice venue of the evening.

Day 2: Explore Tsavo National Park

Early morning drive in the Tsavo West National Park followed by a sumptuous breakfast served at Finch Hattons or perhaps out in the bush. Morning at your leisure at camp, or why not relax the mind, body and spirit with a touch of yoga on our fabulous yoga deck overlooking the Chyulu Hills.

Lunch on the outdoor terrace at Finch Hattons. After lunch why not treat yourself to one of our signature Africology treatments at the camps spa and wellness centre. Later in the evening enjoy a bush walk with experienced guides to learn more about the park and its rich history, the flora and fauna unique to the park and how nature lives and thrives in the Tsavo.

Pre-dinner drinks by the camp ‘boma’ where you can hear more about the rich history of the camp and the Tsavo, with entertainment from the Maasai dancers and perhaps even the resident guitar enthusiast!

Dinner at the choice venue of the evening and end it with a night cap at the star gazing terrace.

Day 3: Explore Tsavo National Park

Early morning drive in the Tsavo West National Park followed by a sumptuous breakfast served at the Pavilion Deck. Morning at your leisure by the pool or spa and wellness centre.

Lunch on the outdoor terrace at Finch Hattons. After lunch why not treat yourself to a relaxing session in our hammam at the camps spa and wellness centre. Later we enjoy some pre-dinner drinks by the ‘boma’ where the camp guides will be happy to discuss the flora and fauna found around the camp and the park.

Dinner at the choice venue of the evening and end it with a night cap at the star gazing terrace.

4 Days: Tsavo West – Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast at Finch Hattons followed by a transfer to Finch Hattons Airstrip. Fly to Mara North Airstrip via Nairobi. Upon arrival you are welcomed by Mahali Mzuri and transfer to camp with a game drive en-route and to settle into your tented suite.

Lunch on the shaded deck at Mahali Mzuri. Explore Mahali Mzuri and get to know your new home for the next few days, perhaps a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or help yourself to your favorite drink from behind the bar!

Afterwards relax and enjoy the views and the passing game of the Mara, there have been some incredible and exciting sightings straight from the camp, so make use of the binoculars provided

Afternoon tea served in the lounge followed by an afternoon game drive in the Olare Motorogi conservancy. Experience the wildlife of the Maasai Mara in near solitude, only the vehicles of the conservancy partners are permitted out on game drives.

Dinner will be served in the main dining tent, or perhaps out in the bush followed by drinks around the camp fire.

Day 5: Explore Masai Mara (Olare Motorogi Conservancy)

Early morning game drive in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy followed by breakfast served at Mahali Mzuri. Take a visit to the local market in Aitong, where the Maasai trade cattle and sell other local essentials, it’s a fascinating experience. Or if the market isn’t open, learn how to throw a spear or shoot a bow and arrow.

Lunch on the shaded deck at Mahali Mzuri. After lunch why not book an Africology treatment*. Afternoon tea followed by an afternoon game drive with an optional visit to the Maasai community working closely with Mahali Mzuri. Understand the local way of life and meet with a Maasai Elder. *

Pre-dinner drinks around the campfire. Share your stories and photos of what you’ve seen with the team and other guests. Dinner in the dining tent at Mahali Mzuri.

Day 6: Explore Masai Mara (Olare Motorogi Conservancy)

Optional early morning game drive in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy followed by breakfast served at Mahali Mzuri or perhaps out in the bush. Enjoy a half day game drive in the Masai Mara with lunch served in the bush under the famous lone trees in the Mara plains

Drive back to the Camp, Afternoon at leisure or take a dip in the pool to cool off after the long day. Pre-dinner drinks around the campfire. Dinner in the dining tent at Mahali Mzuri.

Day 7: Explore Masai Mara (Olare Motorogi Conservancy)

Very early morning wake-up call, coffee, tea and snacks are served in the main tent before transferring to your hot air balloon adventure. Enjoy a Hot Air Balloon safari* over the Mara River for a bird’s eye view game experience of the Maasai Mara National Park (additional cost applies).

After breakfast at the landing site, take a leisurely journey back to Mahali Mzuri to relax before lunch. Lunch on the shaded deck at Mahali Mzuri. After lunch take a dip in the pool, or lounge around with a pair of binoculars at hand, watching the passing wildlife.

Afternoon tea followed by a magical afternoon game drive in the Olare Motorogi conservancy. Pre-dinner drinks around the campfire. Share your stories and photos of your day with the team and other guests. Dinner in the dining tent at Mahali Mzuri

Day 8: Masai Mara – Fly to Nairobi

Breakfast at Mahali Mzuri followed by a transfer to Mara North Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi Wilson. Arrive at Nairobi Wilson and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home
