In Masai Mara Game Reserve stay at Cottar’s Bush Villa set away from Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp. The bush villa has a fantastic location complemented by the highest standards of guiding (the greatest concentration in Kenya of gold guides at one camp).
Run by the oldest established and continuing safari family in Africa spanning over five generations. The family is in the service of making lifelong memories for guests, and providing just the right mix of adventure and adrenaline, and comfort.
Absolute exclusivity with no hot air balloons flying overhead, no minibuses buzzing around, no nearby lodges, and no low-flying aircraft to disturb. The Bush Villa is situated on Maasai-owned land and employs members of the Maasai community and supports numerous initiatives including a school, medical facilities, water supply, and ambulance service.
You will enjoy game drives (day and night), guided walking safaris, river swimming, fishing, bush breakfasts or dinners, cultural visits to Maasai Villages or schools, optional hot-air ballooning, and Massage treatments.
In Diani beach stay in complete luxury at the Alfajiri Villas. Here you will be able to enjoy a peaceful stroll barefoot along the beach, with views of the sparkling Indian Ocean and the coral reefs that are close by.

Safari Itinerary in Detail
Day 1, 2, & 3: Nairobi – Fly to Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast at your city hotel/ residence in Nairobi, we transfer to Wilson Airport for our scheduled flight to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The 45-minute flight departs Wilson airport at 0915 hours and is expected to touch down at the first airstrip in Masai Mara at 1000 hours.
On arrival in Masai Mara, you will be met by a Cottar’s Bush Villa guide and transferred to the lodge for check-in for a 3-night stay. Cottar’s Bush Villa provides a luxury private stay option for up to 12 guests and offers the only real private luxury home in the Maasai Mara.
We enjoy absolute privacy in the Masai Mara, combined with dedicated and discrete staff, award-winning guides, and an abundance of wildlife while on game drives.
Cottar’s Bush Villa has a breathtaking view of the savannah plains that carry the great annual wildebeest migration and is set amidst a backdrop of the Olderkesi Hills. Activities include private guided game drives, night game drives, bush walks, swimming, and fishing.
Cottar’s Bush Villa is rented only on an exclusive basis and comes with a dedicated staff of 8. The villa is over 10,000 square feet in size and features a large living room, dining room, a magnificent viewing deck, and 5 en-suite bedrooms, all with stunning views.
The villa has internet access throughout, satellite TV and DVD, and is powered with electric and solar energy. A dedicated game drive vehicle(s) and guide(s) will be provided to you throughout your stay.

Day 4, 5, 6, & 7: Masai Mara – Fly to Kenya Coast Diani Beach
Today we enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast followed by some leisure time and lunch. Depart the camp and transfer to the Airstrip for your flight to Mombasa Ukunda Airstrip in Diani Beach.
Upon arrival we take a 5 minutes transfer to Alfajiri Beach Villa – a fabulous villa tucked away at Diani Beach on Kenya’s south coast, the three Alfajiri villas exude the height of luxury and individual style. The Beach Villa with four en-suite bedrooms is perfect for groups of friends or a family.
Alfajiri Villas are considered by many as some of the finest private houses on the Kenyan coast. The Beach Villa is beautifully situated, perched on a coral cliff with breathtaking views across the Indian Ocean, it offers total privacy with highly attentive and discreet staff.
There is an array of activities that can be enjoyed during your stay at Alfajiri Beach Villa. From the Villa, you can enjoy snorkelling in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. You can arrange to play tennis, squash, or golf and also book a relaxing massage or reflexology.
It is also possible to arrange scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, kite-surfing, jet-skiing, and Dhow excursions to Kisite Marine Park.

We have breakfast at leisure and transfer to Ukunda Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – depart.
Sadly, at the end of your safari; other plans can be made to go on to another East African safari destination, or depart for home.
