The safari begins in Nairobi, from where you fly to andBeyond Bateleur Camp nestles in the cool shade of a forest in the Western Mara, on the edge of the Masai Mara National Reserve.
As well as the twice daily game drives, the camp offers walking safaris, visits to local villages, Spa treatments, inviting pool, night safaris, balloon safaris and day trips to Lake Victoria.
Next you fly to the Serengeti National Park. Your stay will be at the exclusive andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp for 3 nights. Game drives in the Serengeti regularly bring sightings of the Big Five as well as hyena, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, and even the rare aardwolf.
Best of all, the camps location on the banks of a tributary of the Grumeti River means you can enjoy a “Sofa Safari” here and watch all the action right from your tents.
From the Serengeti we fly to Lake Manyara where you will be accommodated for 2 nights at the andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Among the many animals here are lion, elephants, giraffe, hippo, wild dogs, impala, zebra, baboons and its lake a magnet for birdlife, including sizeable flocks of pink flamingos.
Activities include twice daily game drives, night drives, community visits, walking, biking or running trails through the local community.

Day 1 & 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast at your hotel/ residence we transfer you to Wilson airport then board your flight to andBeyond Bateleur Camp nestles in the cool shade of a forest in the Western Masai Mara Game Reserve. Situated below the scenic location where the famous final scene of the movie Out of Africa was filmed, this romantic and totally private camp reflects the ambiance of Kenyan safaris of the ‘20s and ‘30s.
AndBeyond Bateleur Camp comprises just two intimate camps of nine tented suites each, set among the forests on the edge of the Masai Mara. The tented suites boast an easy, classical elegance, with polished wooden floors and en-suite bathrooms with his and hers basins, indoor and outdoor stone-walled showers and a copper bathtub.
Each tent has its own deck overlooking the vast game-filled plains of the Maasai Mara. The Masai Mara National Reserve is known for its vast open plains that are home to and abundance of wildlife including millions of wildebeest that migrate through the region on an annual basis.
Activities at Bateleur Camp include twice-daily game drives, including spot-lit night drives. The camp also offers a range of additional activities such as bush walks, hot air balloon safaris, community excursions, a well-equipped gym and wellness treatments in our massage sala.

Day 3 & 4: Serengeti National Park
Today you will board your flight to andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp in Tanzania, located in the remote western reaches of the Serengeti National Park where there are few other lodges and one rarely sees other vehicles. This makes for an exceptional game viewing experiences with the feeling of the ultimate exclusivity.
Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp is ideally situated on the banks of a tributary of the Grumeti River. The proximity to water draw a profusion of game looking for water and seasonal resident hippo pods can be seen in the river pools, right in from your tents.
Also, the stage for the annual wildebeest migration, the area promises astounding game viewing even when the migration has moved to other parts of this mega-reserve.
This charming Tanzania luxury tented camp consisting of a main lodge and 10 sleeping tents. It has a shady deck area that adjoins a cool swimming pool giving guests that all important hideaway during the hotter times of the day. Spend 3 nights at Grumeti &Beyond Tented Camp on wildlife drives, bush picnics, sundowners, ballooning and an excursion to Lake Victoria.

Day 5 & 6: Lake Manyara National Park
Today you will fly to andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge where you will spend 2 nights. Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is located in the remote south western region of the park, allowing for leisurely tracking of the park’s famous tree-climbing lions and for unimpeded viewing of the flocks of pelicans and flamingoes, and the buffalo cooling in the soda lake.
The lodge is made up of ten tree house suites that are built up on stilts among the foliage of the bush. All are luxurious, fully private and with bathroom en-suite. The lodge also has a communal boma for star lit dinners and decks with beautiful views of the forest
Game drives are in open 4×4 vehicles, led by experienced rangers and guides. The wildlife in Lake Manyara National Park is used to the presence of humans, thus making game drives and night drives all the more rewarding. Join guided walks in a nearby village for a cultural experience, learning local traditions.

Day 7 & 8: Ngorongoro Crater
Rise and shine, enjoy breakfast and board your flight to andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, landing at Lake Manyara Airstrip. From here, you will embark on a road transfer to Ngorongoro Crater lodge, a luxury property that’s perched on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater with magnificent views onto the crater floor.
An intriguing mix of African décor, modern touches, and European royalty, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is a gem of over-the-top luxury. Rooms are spacious with silk curtains, chandeliers, and wood paneling. The bathtubs overlook the crater and offer prime relaxation while soaking up the vistas.
Food, service, management, and attention to detail are superb, making this is an ideal place for a romantic honeymoon – but families are also welcome.
Ngorongoro Crater floor offer excellent game viewing year-round with 25 000 large mammals, including black rhino, zebra and eland, and Africa’s densest population of lion. The rainforests of the crater walls are home to elephant, buffalo, leopard and cheetah, making for spectacular game viewing.
Spend 2 nights at the andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. The main activity is game driving in the crater floor itself which is normally a daily 6-hour safari drive.
Other activities include visiting local Masai Villages to Interact with the Maasai and Hadzabe tribes, walks and hikes depending on fitness and interest and Crater floor Banquet (Dine in one of the most unique settings in Africa).
