AA Lodge Amboseli National Park

AA Lodge Amboseli is a mid-range accommodation located 2 km from Amboseli National Park’s main gate (Kimana Gate) and 20 km from the Emali-Loitoktok tarmac – Amboseli Junction. The lodge is situated 240 km from Nairobi and approximately 16 km from Amboseli airstrip.  Driving time from Nairobi is approximately 2.5 hours.

AA Lodge Amboseli is built with a three-tier architectural design and commands a panoramic view of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-Standing Mountain. Amboseli National Park is known for its large elephant herds and views of the immense Mount Kilimanjaro.

AA Lodge Amboseli has 67 classic tents, and 24 classic cottages and for those looking for a more luxurious experience, the 7 superior rooms will with no doubt meet the best of the expectation. The rooms are elegant and fully furnished, spacious with private bathrooms with hot water, a wardrobe, a reading table, hairdryer, a safe deposit, and private balcony.

There is an onsite restaurant that serves a variety of local and continental cuisine; guests have the option of dining in the restaurant, on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool. There are also poolside barbeques. The well-stocked bar offers a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

The lodge has a beauty spa that offers a variety of body relaxation treatments. The outdoor pool is large and has recliner seats which are perfect for sunbathing before or after a swim session or for savoring a drink from the bar. In the evening guests sit around the bonfire as they socialize, have a drink, or watch local Masai dancers.

AA Lodge Amboseli National Park has well-manicured lawns that provide ideal venues for team building and other outdoor corporate events. There is also a children’s playground where kids can enjoy themselves.

The lodge has 3 well-equipped conference halls with a capacity of 200,100 and 50 delegates and boardrooms which offers the tranquility of the study environment and makes it a perfect place for meetings, incentives, conferencing & events (MICE).

Amboseli National Park is home to large herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hyenas, gazelle, and impala. Cheetahs and lions are often seen, either hunting on the plains or at rest in the undergrowth. Over 400 bird species including 40 raptors have been recorded in Amboseli.
