Aardvark Lodge Masai Mara is located within the Maasai Mara National park, 1.5 kilometers from Ololaimutia Gate (10 minutes drive). Nairobi is 230 kilometers away from the camp and it takes 45 minutes flight from the Nairobi Wilson Airport to Keekorok Air-strip which is 13 kilometers from the lodge.
There are 15 cottages consisting of double rooms, single rooms and triple rooms. Each cottage is beautifully tiled and has a large sitting area, mosquito net, work desk, large veranda for outdoor relaxation and en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold shower and flush toilet.
The onsite restaurant serves a variety of traditional African foods, Asian and European foods. Guests can dine at a beautifully set table in the savannah, under an Acacia tree lit and warmed by a bone fire watching, by the poolside or inside the restaurant.
Aardvark Lodge Masai Mara fully stocked bar offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages of internationally recognized brands. The bar has a verandah offering a view of the Mara National Game reserve. In the evening guests can sit back and watch the sunset while sipping on a perfect handmade cocktail around the camp fire.
The blue swimming pool is the perfect place to cool off after a full day of exploring the wild or winding down from a long day in the warm sun. Since it is located in the bush land the pool benefits from some natural environment, provided gratis by the local birds with a cool breeze.
Activities in the lodge include game drives, hot air balloon safaris, bush breakfasts, village visits, bush dinners, Maasai dance, pool table and darts.
