Location & Accessibility
Because Enkutoto is a mobile camp, its location changes to track the Great Wildebeest Migration, ensuring an unparalleled wildlife experience
✓ June to October (Northern Serengeti): The camp is based in the Kogatende region, placing guests in a prime position to witness the famous and dramatic Mara River crossings
✓ November to March (Southern Serengeti): The camp relocates to the Ndutu region (bordering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area) to witness the incredible calving season, where thousands of newborns take their first steps on the plains. Our experienced team ensures seamless transitions between locations while maintaining the absolute highest standards of service and comfort
By Road
✓ To Ndutu: The drive takes approximately 5.5 to 6 hours (about 260 km)
✓ To Kogatende: The journey to the northern reaches of the park is longer, taking about 8 to 9 hours (roughly 420 km) across the vast Serengeti plains
✓ Depending on the season, guests can reach the camp via a scenic overland adventure from Arusha, traveling through the stunning landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area
By Air
✓ Flight times average between 1 and 1.5 hours, followed by a short, scenic vehicle transfer directly to your luxury tent
✓ Daily scheduled domestic flights operate from Arusha or Kilimanjaro airports. Depending on the camp’s seasonal location, flights land at either the Kogatende Airstrip (North) or the Ndutu Airstrip (South).
