Africa Safari Lake Natron Lodge Tanzania is a 4-star luxury safari lodge situated in Mtowabaga Lake Natron. The lodge lies in the center of Arusha to Serengeti Kleins Gate and is easily accessible from Arusha, Mto wa Mbu (Manyara), and Wasso.
The lodge is located on volcanic slopes coming from the Ngorongoro conservation area, with a variety of nature, the Masai tribes, the Lake, the volcano, and the view of the Ngorongoro highlands.
Its idyllic location close to the shores of the, sometimes, striking red waters of the mineral-rich ‘soda’ lake set the very tone for the accommodation base. The grounds are spacious and home to a variety of accommodation options, from Bell Tents to the ultimate in Glamping Luxury.
Africa Safari Lake Natron Lodge Tanzania has 3 types of rooms( Safari Tents, Safari Comfort & Safari Glamping Accommodations), all carefully furnished in an authentic African style.
The property boasts a charming wood and culture-inspired bar/restaurant, reception and information desk, and campfire and has a swimming pool that is embedded in its surrounding landscapes and comes complete with stunning views of neighboring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still-active volcano.
Makuti Buffet and a-la-carte Restaurant – The restaurant is built in a private area with stunning views over Lake Natron and Ngorongoro Highland. The views are endless and coming across a sight of Masai herding and looking after their cattle. Each day thousands of cows, goats, and sheep are crossing around the lodge.
Lounge Bar – The bar is well stocked and our wifi is functioning perfectly here for those guests wanting to catch up and show their families back home what they have been up to. There is an entertaining pool table, table tennis, and other family board games.
The restaurant offers a buffet as well as an a-la-carte menu, with local and international-inspired cuisine. You will find a lounge and bar inside the restaurant where our bartenders will mix up the cocktail of your choice.
The on-site swimming pool is embedded in the surrounding landscapes and comes complete with stunning views of neighboring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still-active volcano but in a non-risk zone from the lodge.
Activities available at Africa Safari Lake Natron include; Swimming, Flamingo Lake walks, a visit to the Engare Sero waterfalls, Hominid footprints, or a stroll in the village during an Engare Sero village tour. There is a lot to explore in the amazing surroundings. There is also the nighttime climb to the top of El Doinyo Lengai.
