Africa Safari Maasai Boma Lodge Serengeti Tanzania is a comfortable safari accommodation, located near the northern border of Serengeti National Park. The lodge is situated between Serengeti, Lake Natron, and Ngorongoro crater.
Africa Safari Maasai Boma is approximately 5 hours driving from Lake Natron, 10 minutes driving from the Serengeti Kleins gate, and 2 hours driving from Serengeti Kleins Ikoma gate.
Africa Safari Maasai Boma Lodge Serengeti Tanzania is a unique accommodation, not only because of its ideal location, with Kenya’s Maasai Mara in its backdrop but also due to its design. The circular earth houses with thatched roofs are simple, solid, basic yet comfortable.
The accommodation is carefully furnished in a Maasai traditional style. There are 10 units of Safari Comfort bungalows and 5 Maasai safari huts. The Comfort bungalow is fitted with a kingsize bed and a single bed. An extra single bed can be placed on request.
The constructions are inspired by the traditional look of Maasai huts, while inside you find modern comfort, decorated with traditional beadwork and Maasai cloth.
The Maasai safari huts are small and simple, yet built in the traditional way with an earthen floor, traditional plasterwork, and roofing. They each accommodate up to 2 guests, equipped with 2 single beds, the furniture is made from organic materials such as twigs and branches, and they have an outdoor area with seating.
A spacious bedroom, decorated with traditional Maasai blankets and beadwork, furnished Should read: with a kingsize and one or two single beds, and a bathroom ensuite equipped with a European standard toilet and shower facilities.
At nighttime, when you sit around the campfire, the Maasai storyteller will entertain you with all the legends and tales that live amongst the Maasai for hundreds of years.
