Amani House Masai Mara

Amani House Masai Mara is a beautiful private villa in the Mara (Enonkishu Conservancy) booked on an exclusive basis. Private charters fly into Naretoi airstrip, while scheduled flight to Ngerende airstrip in Masai Mara. The house is approximately 4 hour’s drive from Nairobi via Narok town.

Amani House Masai Mara sleeps 14 guests in 7 rooms.  Amani House, named after the Swahili word for ‘place of peace is set in a beautifully wild landscape on the 1,000-acre private Naretoi estate within the Enonkishu Conservancy adjacent to the Masai Mara.

With complete exclusivity, the Amani house is ideal for families with older children and groups of friends traveling together while experiencing an incredible safari in the Maasai Mara.  The property is broken into separate buildings: a family home, a guest home, and the main home with living, dining, media, and a billiard room.

Amani House is available on an exclusive basis and accommodates up to 14 guests in seven bedrooms. There are four king-sized en-suite bedrooms in the family house, and three in the guest house including a bunk room that has four queen-sized bunk beds.

There is a beautiful pool with a hot tub and a pergola for outside dining. There is also a basketball court and a fully equipped gym. Each of the houses has a TV and the main house has an indoor and outdoor Sonos sound system.

Guests are looked after by a private guide and chef and all mealtimes and activities are personalized to suit each party. Amani House prides itself on exceptional farm-to-table menus, based around locally sourced ingredients from the adjacent Wild Shamba Farm, a small organic agriculture operation.

Enonkishu Conservancy is host to an incredible variety of mammals including some of the world’s rarest animals, white rhino (at the Rhino Sanctuary on the edge of the Kileloni Hill), wild dog, leopard, cheetah, lion, and plenty of plains game including giraffe, zebra, eland, and wildebeests.

For keen ornithologists, Enonkishu is home to over 350 species of birds, including a variety of eagles, vultures, and the stunningly bright superb starling. Enonkishu also is a host to a working cattle ranch.

Guests at Jamani House can explore with their private guide and vehicle for game drives, board games, and private bush walks as well as enjoy bush walks, cycling, star gazing, board games, and wellness treatments. Hot air ballooning and helicopter trips can also be arranged at an extra cost.
