The conservancy boasts of great vistas and games such as zebra, giraffe, eland, impala, wildebeest, gazelle, ostrich, and many bird species.
Since the location is only a 50 minutes drive from Nairobi City Centre and 35 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport it is the perfect place for foreign and local tourists, for senior management workshops, board meetings, and team-building activities.
Amazing Kenya Retreat offers different levels of accommodation. These include Traditional Rondavel rooms, Rondavel Family cottage, VIP Cottage, and camping grounds where one can pitch their own tents.
The 5 Rondavel offers a double or twin bedroom and a fully equipped bathroom. The large windows and double glass doors create a spectacular view from the bedroom, overlooking the slopes of Maanzoni.
The cottage is quite spacious with two en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen opening to a private garden, a large living room with a fantastic view from the verandah.
It also boosts the indoor and outdoor fireplace. This cottage is ideal for large families who wish to stay together in one house. It offers all the same privacy, views, and comfort as Rondavels.
This comes with an option of own cooking or as part of full board arrangement of room service or meals in the main building.
The hotel serves Kenyan and continental dishes which can be enjoyed at the restaurant or outdoors. Meals are complimentary. The bar serves a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Guests can engage in game walks and nature walks, bird watching, game drive, bush breakfast, horse riding, team building, sundowner on the rocks, community visits, and market day in Machakos.
