Angata Serengeti Camp Tanzania

Angata Serengeti Camp Tanzania is a luxury camp located in Seronera (Central Serengeti). Ang’ata Serengeti is ideally situated for game drives in all directions throughout the Serengeti all year-round. 

Angata Serengeti Camp is about 300 km from Arusha, driving takes approximately 5 Hours. The flight time from Arusha to Serengeti Seronera is approximately 2 hours, followed by 15 minutes drive to the camp. Nearby are the Serengeti Visitors center, Research Center, and Frankfurter Zoological Society.

In a day’s drive, you can reach Moru Kopjes and the Maasai Kopjes with the rock paintings and N’gong Rocks to the south, Grumeti river and the Western corridor, Retima Hippo Pool and even Lobo area to the north, or explore Turner Springs to the west if you have already scouted the Seronera region. 

Angata Serengeti Camp Tanzania has 12 large Guest tents including a 2 tent Family unit, a lounge, and a dining tent. Each guest tent has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, vanity desk, and flush toilets. A Kingsize bed or 2 Twin beds are available.

The camp has a lounge, the best place to connect with other travelers while enjoying a cup of Tanzanian Coffee or Tea. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are served in the dining tent, freshly prepared by the camp Chefs daily.

Depending on weather conditions the dining tent can be either fully opened to bring the surrounding bush into the dining experience or it can be fully closed off in case of wind and rain.

Mosquito nets all around prevent most insects to come to bothering our Guests during their meals. The Camp Fire or Bush TV is a few steps away in front of the main area usually underneath a beautiful Acacia.

Activities available from Angata Serengeti Camp include; Walking Safaris, Hiking, Night Game Drives, Weddings, private Bush lunches, Bush dinners, or Balloon Safaris. Bush campfire is lit when the weather permits.

Serengeti National Park –  The vast wilderness areas are home to the earth’s biggest concentrations of large mammals, from elephants and giraffes to hippos and zebras, to lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

* Kids below 10 years old are not allowed on Nature Walks
* Total Hours spent on nature walks should be one &half or two hours

* Sundowner- 25 US Dollars per person subject to weather permitting & animal concentration
* Bush dinner, Bush breakfast, and bush lunch are available at a cost of 50 US Dollars per head, from 5-10 people subject to animal concentration and weather condition
