The camp is  located in the central southern part of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, close to the Moru Kopjes, which are rocky outcrops that provide stunning views of the surrounding plains. Another pinnacle point of Moru is the Gong Rock Where one can view a Series of Masai Paintings and just to the east lies the Saline Lake Magadi, a Paradise for Flamingos.

Asanja Moru camp’s area is best known for its enormous herbivore migration led by over a million zebra and wildebeest, a vast voracious lawnmower which in turn provides sustenance for a glut of predators. The camp is situated in a secluded area, providing guests with a private and exclusive safari ex perience while still being near the park’s main attractions.

The Asanja Moru location known for The Great Migration wherein herds of wilderbeests and zebras cross each year towards their destination. There are so many resident animals in this area – The Big 5, The Ugly 5!

Asanja Moru can be accessed by air or road. The closest airstrip is the Seronera Airstrip, which is approximately a 45-minute drive from the camp. Guests can also access Asanja Moru by road from Arusha or other nearby towns. The drive can take anywhere from 5-7 hours. Asanja Moru is located in the Moru area inside the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania & is 40 minutes drive from the Seronera Airstrip.

Asanja Moru Camp has 7 ensuite Individual Luxury bush tents and One (two-bedroom ensuite) Family tent. Each Asanja Moru Tent represents a special Masai Ceremony and has a story to tell. The tented rooms in Serengeti offer a comfortable and authentic African safari experience.

The elegantly decorated interiors provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with comfortable beds, modern amenities, and large windows offering breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness.
