Asanja Ndembo Camp Ruaha National Park Tanzania is located in the southern part of Tanzania, in the heart of the Ruaha National Park. The camp is situated on the banks of the Great Ruaha River, which is the lifeline of the park and provides stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. 

Asanja Ndembo is located in the Ruaha National Park, Tanzania, and can be accessed by air or road. The closest airstrip to the camp is the Msembe Airstrip, which is approximately a 45-minute drive from the camp. Guests can also access Asanja Ndembo by road from Dar es Salaam or other nearby towns. The drive can take anywhere from 10-12 hours.

Ruaha National Park is the largest National Park in East Africa and a hidden gem in safari circles. Not only is it home to more than 10,000 elephants but it’s rare to spot other safari game viewing vehicles, so prevalent in other National Parks.

Ruaha National Park is located in southern Tanzania, and it has a tropical savanna climate with two distinct seasons: a dry season and a wet season. The dry season runs from May to October and is characterized by low humidity and almost no rainfall. During this time, temperatures can range from 15°C to 32°C (59°F to 90°F) during the day and can drop to 5°C to 20°C (41°F to 68°F) at night.

The wet season runs from November to April and is characterized by high humidity and occasional heavy rainfalls. During this time, temperatures can range from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F) during the day and can drop to 10°C to 20°C (50°F to 68°F) at night.
