Surrounded by lush gardens in a country setting, the property offers 14 cottage-style suites, 6 of which are family suites that can accommodate up to 7 guests. Each suite has a sitting room with a fireplace and adjoining veranda and a cozy bedroom with an attached bathroom.

The cuisine is farm to table, with fruiting trees, herbs, vegetable gardens and coffee onsite, and milk, eggs, and honey sourced from the nearby lodge farm. The emphasis is on fresh foods with lots of veggies. The lodge grows its own wheat and beans in nearby fields; fresh bread and rolls are baked daily.
