Baobab Sea Lodge Kilifi is a 3-star resort located on 5 acres of tropical gardens and 60 meters of sea frontage in Kilifi. The Baobab Sea Lodge gives you the best of Kilifi with a great location on a stunning beach. There are no other hotels on this stretch of beach (Kilifi Bay – 5 km away) and guests can enjoy the true meaning of privacy.

Twenty guest rooms are situated in ten rondavels and the remaining ten guest rooms are located inside the main two-story building, including six twin rooms and the four larger rooms with children’s bunk beds that are ideal for your modest family beach vacation to the Indian Ocean!

The ceiling fan is adequate to circulate fresh ocean breezes, and for warmer days, the air conditioning cools your room quite quickly, although it may turn off unexpectedly due to intentional power rationing. The lodge has 2 swimming pools, 2 bars, a restaurant, and a lounge with Television and video.

The private beach area of the lodge offers several activities like diving or snorkeling. There is a massage and a tennis court on-site. The camp has several facilities and services to ensure you have a comfortable stay. These include two bars, the main dining room, an open-air dining area, and a treehouse coffee deck.

Also available is a video room, guest lecture facilities, and a curio shop. A fleet of four-wheel-drive vehicles with expert drivers is available at the camp. The camp has a resident nurse and a medical clinic. Power is supplied by generator from 5.00 am to 9.00 am, 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm, and from 6.00 pm to 12.00 am.

New additions at Fig Tree Camp include new conference rooms, driver/guide accommodation, and a new dining area overlooking the Talek River. Attractions close to Kilifi include Gedi Ruins, Watamu Marine Park, and the towns of Mombasa and Malindi. Hotel facilities include a conference hall and tennis court. Baobab Sea Lodge is a small hotel with a big impression.
