Batian Guest House Mount Kenya

Batian Guest House is a self-catering accommodation located in Mount Kenya National Park, Nyeri District some 200 km north of Nairobi and 17 km from Naro Moru town. The cottage is situated ½ km beyond the gate. The closest airstrip is the Nanyuki Airstrip.

Batian Guest House Mount Kenya has 4 bedrooms which can accommodate up to 8 guests.  2 of the bedrooms have double beds, one bedroom has a double-decker and the other bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom is en-suite and has a hot water shower and a flush toilet. 

The sitting room in the house is tastefully furnished and has a log fireplace that creates a warm and cozy ambiance. There is an open-plan dining area leading off the sitting room. The veranda is also fully equipped with nice dining furniture. There is electricity connectivity through the property.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, and glasses. Here guests can cook for themselves or have the caretaker prepare meals for them. There is a verandah with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.

Guests are provided with a caretaker, kerosene lamps, blankets, pillows, bed linen, towels, soap, and toilet tissue.

The guest house is  set in alpine pastures on the edge of a forested ravine, Batian guesthouse, and Sirimon banda are located at the foot of Mount Kenya with an impressive landscape including over 800 plant species and a diverse range of wildlife including elephant, giant forest hog, tree hyrax, white-tailed mongoose, black rhino, Suni, duiker, bongo, bushbuck, lion, and leopard
