Boundary Hill Lodge Tarangire

Boundary Hill Lodge is a 3.5-star lodge located in the Tarangire Conservation Area about 117 Km Southwest of Arusha, 12 km from the Boundary Hill Gate to Tarangire National Park. The lodge is located high above the Tarangire Savanah with spectacular views across the park and its own private conservation area.

Boundary Hill Lodge is perched on the edge of Tarangire National Park, among trees and rock outcrops, the lodge is nestled into the cliffs and huge granite slabs. Boundary Hill Lodge offers outstanding views over the Silale and Gosuwa swamps, where elephants and buffalo graze among the acacia and baobab trees beneath the vastness of Africa’s sky.

Arusha town is approximately a 2-3 hours drive(180km) to the park and 30 minutes flying from Arusha to Kuro airstrip followed by a 45 minutes transfer to the lodge. The Nearest Airstrip (Kuro Airstrip).

Boundary Hill Lodge Tarangire has a total of 8 very spacious individually designed rooms, to offer as much privacy as possible. None of the rooms are overlooked. All of them have private sitting areas, spacious balconies, and spectacular views.

Built-in harmony with the environment, among the rocks and cliffs, of natural materials and colors, with fine furnishings, the rooms offer unparalleled comfort and quietly understated luxury.

All have en-suite facilities with separate showers and three are double suites with cast-iron baths. There is also a family suite: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sitting/entrance area, and a spacious verandah with a fireplace to enjoy the evenings. Large king-size beds, comfortable couches and chairs, a coffee table, and a luggage rack.

Meals are a blend of continental and the occasional Swahili, the palate and aromas will leave you craving for more.  Meals for everyone are catered, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, dieting, and for those with a sweet tooth. Combine your meal with a bottle of the best wines available.

Activities at the lodge include; Day game drive,  Night game drive, Masai boma visits & walks, bush picnics & sunset dinners & archery, and painting lessons. Tarangire has the second-highest concentration of wildlife of any Tanzanian national park (after the Serengeti) and is reportedly the largest concentration of elephants in the world.
